He can get to the basket in both transion and half court... He can hit open shots, and he can play defense..

Let LH or LBJ handle the ball so he doesn't turn it over...

As a 19 year old, Tony Parker was immediately inserted into the starting lineup of a contending team, as the 29th pick in 2001... Granted, they're not the same type of talent, but, they both were the exact style of player their respective teams needed...

Is Gibson going to do any worse than what either Jones or Wesley did ? How could it get worse ?

Wow close game. I have to say I really like our team. When Lebron, Gooden and Hughes are on the floor togethor we seem to flow very good. If Hughes can play like he did today ever game this year we can get to the next level this year and even more.

i feel you on that Pip....Gibby or Shannon can fill the role easily as well

whoever it is something needs to happen because that could be the missing piece we need so badly

Wesley should be cut....I know thats tough after 1 game but he is useless....and if you dont want to cut him then dont dress Ira and dress Shannon or Daniel

something to get them in.....but Sasha getting minutes is not good for me unles he takes big step in the next few days and Jones is still the same Jones we saw last year



I just think our team would be sooooo much better if we had a legit guy behind Snow and Hughes and Bron because the Snow and Wesley and Snow and Jones and Jones and esley combos on the court is just not going to cut it

Did anyone else catch Sasha take the ball from the baseline, dribble up to the Free throw line, and try to split two defenders with wrapping the ball around his back ?

The bastard did that twice... His game confuses me.. He's pretty much operating out there without a brain..

My favorite plays of the night were the two plays by Wesey... Nothing better than him trying to hit the open man 40 yards down the field on the slant and post routes...

He just couldn't get it over the Middle Linebacker named Caron Butler...

Oh, BTW, we won... So all is forgiven..

Yeah i saw that,atleast it shows he has confidence to do that lol.I dont think Wesley will be moving anywhere,if you go to nba.com rosters they have a C by his name for captain.so i dont know.

They have always hated us. I remember this fan on an ESPN board showed his hatred for LeBron. I've never seen anyone else show this kind of dislike before. Ever. Then the fans of WAS bashed him.

Hughes was awesome, but it was only the first game of the season and we got our first injury scare. James put in a usual awesome offensive performance. One concerning thing is that the team is a bit lost without him in there. Defensively though, Butler lit him up. Gooden had a pretty good game too, stayed active on the boards, showed some shooting range. It seems they're going to him more. Z was limited by foul troubles, but we had the bench to make up for it.

Speaking of, DJ was shooting, but there werent too many shots that were outright bad. Also, he didn't look half bad on D tonight. Wesley on the other hand, just didn't show me much of anything. He was basically all turnovers and bricks. AV was big at the end of game. Marshall gave a good all-around performance.

My Thoughts:

1. Anyone notice how poor our team looked when either Larry or Lebron was out? The Cavs looked great when both were out there.

2. Wesley is done

What the Cavs need: start getting minutes for Brown and Gibson now.

Just wait till Larry goes down. Wesley is here to fill Flip's role. Does anyone think Wesley can come anywhere close to filling Flip's shoes when it comes to taking over for an injured Larry? I thought not.

The thought of Wesley in the starting lineup has me shuddering.
