Keys to the game

* Keep riding the streak: The Cavaliers have won 5 straight going into this game and look to extend the league's second longest current streak.

* Guard the perimeter: Chicago lacks any real inside presence, so the Cavaliers must concentrate on correcting their weak perimeter defense. The Cavaliers must force the Bulls to take the ball to the hoop or work the ball into Sweetney. If Gordon and Heinrich get it going, then the game could be tough.

* Inside out: The Cavaliers should take advantage of their size and pound the ball into Z and Drew. Z has been playing very well of late and should be able to get easy looks or draw plenty of fouls. This should also open things up for Marshal, Jones and the rest of the Cavaliers.

* Keep focused: The Cavaliers have recently let teams go on some serious runs to get back into games or take the lead. There was no reason to have a close game against the Pacers the other night, but the team's lack of focus and sustained effort allowed the game to be close. The Cavaliers will have to play hard for all 24 seconds of each possession because Scott Skiles will have his Bulls doing just that.

Final Thought

The Cavaliers recently went up to Chicago and beat them on Chicago's home court. The Bulls would like nothing better than to return the favor. The Cavaliers, however, will be very tough to beat on their home floor. They sport the NBA's 3rd best home record. As the defensive effort has increased, the team's winning streak has grown. Cleveland should continue their winning ways as the Bulls cannot handle the Cavaliers' inside-outside attack. Expect Z to have a good game and Lebron continue to shine.

Cleveland beats Chicago 98-88.

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

there is no reason why the bulls should be the cavs. if we just beat them in their house, than why would they be able to beat us in the q.

z is playing very well and it should continue against a lack-luster front line.

im getting sick and tired of the cavs falling in love with the outside shot once the lead gets to 20. lebron and larry need to attack or we need to give big z the ball on the block.

Everybody relax, I just double checked the media guide and it confirms that the Bulls are not the Cavs despite what this gentleman believes..The Bulls still reside in Chicago while the Cavs play in Cleveland.. :chuckles:

Cavs should win... But we lost to the Hawks on that home floor, so anything is possible..

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

whats with the pisser on noiconi?

shouldnt it be duhon, gordon or hinrich?

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

Nocioni is an annoying, white stiff thug. He makes people angry, that's why he gets urinated on. He leads the NBA in flagrant fouls also.

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

Nocioni is going to be a fine player I think. But he is playing out of position, if they ever get him out of that power forward spot, i see him being a very good player for the Chicago Bulls. He plays with hustle and is a smart defender.

Other then that, screw em, he plays for the Bulls. Urinate all over him.

Cavs will be on their 6th game winning streak, this game shouldn't be a threat.

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

Nocioni really got under many of the cavaliers skin. Thats his tactic each game and it worked a treat. We just have to emphasive getting the ball iniside. They have litle front court depth and are extremely undersized in the starting five. Mentally a tough game for mine.

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

My vote is for Ben Gordon because he single handedly torched us and gave them an 8 point lead without much help from anyone...If he hits 2 straight shots you may as well figure it like a 10 point burst before he bricks.

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

This should be a sweet game, maybe renewing an old rivalry. If they could re-add Eddy Curry to this developed team it would be scary. But he's gone, and Chandler has been sleepwalking for the last month. We should be able to take it to them.

BTW good keys HurlBruce.

-Keep Sweetney from scoring in the post 1st quarter. They should fall behind from there.

-Our backcourt is outmatched here, Duhon and Hinrich work well together and can both run the point. Snow needs to keep Hinrich off balance at the point. Duhon will hit some threes, hopefully Larry can at least contain him out at the line.

Re: Dec 26th, Chicago @ Cleveland

Yay, I'll be there tonight. We should win - homecourt and we just beat the Bulls on the road. I see no reason for a loss tonight!
