"The 76ers worked out former Camden High star Dajuan Wagner in private after the team's morning rookie/free agent camp session Friday in Philadelphia. Wagner, a 6-foot-2 guard, is a free agent because the Cavaliers, who made him the sixth pick in the 2001 draft after one season at the University of Memphis, declined to offer him a fourth-year qualifying offer of $3.59 million."

From hoopshype.

Good luck to him..ill always root for him.

He and Iverson have been close ever since his Highschool days, they compared him to Iverson maybe he will groom Wagner to be like him when his playing days are over. Iverson told Billy King to make this signing.

Well good luck to him. he has really had some tough breaks.. Can you imagine the position he would be in if he had made a successful transition to a point guard with an outside shot?

Anyway, I hope he has a couple of healthy seasons to get back on his feet.

Yea, I wish the best for him. He'll work perfectly under AI's mentoring. He just never got a clear chance in the NBA and was labeled a bust because he didn't make an instant impact. I can see him coming back soon and becoming a solid player.

Yeah I never understood why people thought he was a bust. When the Cavs drafted him, I started to become a Cavs fan because he was my favorite player in college at the time and I wanted him to hopefully be sucessful for the Cavs franchise, but that didn't work out..

well doubleshot this is why many of us think he was a bust.

we drafted him with the 6th pick

we got absolutley nothing more then 1 month out of him..

after he went around the league once, the league figured him out..

he cannot play pg, he is too short to be an sg (iverson is quicker thus he can get away with it) oh yeah, and iverson is a 1000000000% better player

he only goes right (refuses to go left) MAC thinks he has a left hand, i have no evidence of that

he only threw up floaters going right (nothing else, again no left hand)

his shooting was streaky at best (seems like his shot is not as good as advertised)

he couldn't guard a carton of milk......

seemed lazy

always sick or hurt..

i think that should just about do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

B*U*S*T

good for him, hopefully he stays out of trouble and starts playing like the player he should have been when he was drafted.
