PREDICTION:

Myles breaks the rapists ribs, Dobbs' hair catches on fire, and James Harrison gets suspended for taking steroids to help him better abuse his wife. Coleman torches Haden up and down the field to the tune of 120 yards and a TD. Crow runs rampant on the pansy ass Stillers defense.

This one goes to THE BROWNS

Pains me to say it but we're getting wrecked. Browns are still a team searching for answers while Steelers have the answers. I can see us competing as all hell though, you know, play our 'guts' out. Steelers will pull away in the 3rd.

34-20 Pitt

If any of you are streaming a defense in fantasy, Pittsburgh is your choice, they had great scoring games vs the Browns last year at least. I'm sure they can get at least 8+ points

Streaming any Steelers against the Browns in fantasy football is like taking dirty money. Your karma will pay the price at some point in the season.

Browns will make it closer than the national media gives them, but Steelers will win. They are a top 5 team and they will be amped to take the field and start the season. This isn't a case where a below average team catches them napping mid-season.

The game I believe is actually going to be fairly low scoring and end up being a bit of a grind. Browns defense is a lot better than last years so it will be up to Kizer and Crow behind the new OLine to show if they can properly run the offense. I don't see it being any worse than like a 21-7 win by the Steelers.

Going out on the limb and giving the Brownies the 21-17 win in a shocker.

Boy what a win like that could do for this teams culture development/confidence going forward.

You are really going out on a limb. We have the youngest roster in the league, one of the youngest QBs ever to start an NFL game let alone week 1 and have won 1 season opener in 18 tries (that was 13 years ago btw).

Seems like a good bet that they win.

We're gunna get wrecked. Lose by 3 TD's plus.

Put yourself in the shoes of a Steeler fan and think about this game.

We are going to get beaten. I have it more like Steelers 31 Browns 16. But this time they will feel us.

Thinking that we have a chance is like Hawks or Raptors fans thinking they had a chance the last few years in the playoffs. Nope. Weren't even close.

Oh yeah because one NFL game is comparable to a 7 game NBA series...

Coleman scores on the Browns first possession. Then everything goes to shit.
Bell rushes for 300 yards and four TD's.
Gonzalez misses two field goals.
Kizer fumbles twice, and gets picked by Haden.
Steelers win 38-7.

When Roethlisberger retires or fucks off to Arizona next year (rumored) then bye-bye goes their x-factor and it becomes a fair fight.

If you look at what their franchise was from about when Bradshaw retired (1983) until they drafted Roethlisberger (2004) thy would be good but at times they didn't have the guy to throw the final punch to get them to win divisional games, afc championships or even super bowls. Hell at times during that era the Browns had flat out equal (1993-1994, 2001-2003-ish) or BETTER teams (1985-1989).

Even when the Browns were bad they would play these asshats tight until they had some sort of final punch to pull

That's really a factor I think that Browns fans often forget to talk about. Much like how the Buffalo Bills have struggled to become a playoff team since 1999 (sadly), we're in the same boat. We have our own New England with their own "X-factor"

e: It's NOT unreasonable to think this couldn't be a close game (see above. fucking Charlie Frye even got within distance of them), but the problem is they have the trump card when it comes to crunch time.

The only honest one here. I'm rooting for the other side, and even I don't see it being that lopsided.
