No one wins in that bet
They also had a returner back there. I understood/stand why, still disagree with the decision. He said in his press conference he thought 60 was a little long at that point.
FWIW Justin Tucker is only 1 for 5 in 50+ FGA so far this season.
Proud to say I stuck it out. Sadly, everyone left in my section at the end were Steelers fans, but they were bitter and cold. I warmed myself on their agony.
Also, there were seven seconds in the clock at that point and a FG attempt would not have run out the clock. If Hopkins misses from 60 the Ravens get the ball at midfield with time for one last play before halftime. A Hail Mary, on the other hand, runs out the clock. He said in his press conference he thought 60 was a little long at that point.

I remember going to a game at the old Stadium in about 1968. I think it was against Pittsburgh and Mike Phipps was the quarterback. I was really cold, but my dad had a handwarmer that worked by burning lighterfluid. It was inside a cloth bag. It got so hot, I could only hold it through my gloves.I had hand warmers in the glove and the shoes. I put them on in the 2nd quarter, but what I didn’t know - those have to be sufficiently warm to activate. The whole game I thought they were just poor quality. Go to the bar after the game, and 20 minutes later it felt like someone lit a fire in my shoes.
By far the coldest game I’ve ever attended.
