So, Tampa's problem this year is the interior of their offensive line. After having one of the best lines in the league, they lost all three of their interior linemen. Kappa, Jensen and Marpet all gone. You can't scheme around pressure up the middle and it's always been Brady's kryptonite.
Well, just watch Tampa play against our DT's. You'd think they had those three guys back. Our DTs get blown off the ball, and often take out the linebackers or safeties behind them.
If anyone wants to laugh/cry, watch the all 22 of White's long run on the first drive. I'm pretty sure our DTs get pushed around by two linemen, but also blow up a blitzing Delpit AND knock Jones out of the play.
It's hard to play defense when four guys are neutralized like that.
The number one priority this offseason has to be Defensive Tackle. As much as I dislike Woods, this is an area where Berry failed. Winfrey, Togiai, Elliott... not a single player among them. And we don't have the Maliks, Sheldon Richardson or Larry Ogunjobi.
