If the Browns can win this, we got a lovely two week break and all sorts of planning for how the Browns make the playoffs

If the Browns lose this one, we might as well start discussing draft picks, coaching changes and free agency 3 months ahead of schedule

Pretty much.

This team is VERY beatable, and this is obviously the biggest game of the year up until this point.

Lamar has low-key not played very well his last 4 games. He's taking sacks (15), throwing picks (5), and has looked lost as teams have been blitzing him a lot (Bengals and Dolphins games especially). We need Woods to dial it up, man. Blitz this dude and trust our corners to play well.

On offense, we can run the ball on them. Chubb has made it a habit of steamrolling them. Stick to the formula - don't be afraid to PA pass on 1st down sometimes. Less empty and more 11 personnel on obvious passing downs, while giving extra blockers/protection. Wink blitzes a lot since their pass rush isn't very good without it, so I want to see a lot of screens and passes to CHUNT out the backfield. Sprinkle in a few deep shots, and I think we can win this game.

Baker or Keenum - I really don't care. Give me an ugly win going into the bye and I'm a happy camper.

Need at least a split of these next two weeks.

Otherwise, may as well fire up the tank, as the schedule doesn't get any easier from here on out with games against @ GB (Christmas), @ PIT (MNF), CIN, and LV (flex) remaining.

Winning this week has roughly the same impact on the Browns playoff chances as winning both @ GB and LV

i expect absolutely nothing out of the browns defense. Maybe they limit the ravens to under 28 points, but im expecting 35+. Lamar has always carved this team up and i see 0 reason it wont continue

edit: going back to 2015, the browns have only held the ravens under 25 points, once. ONCE.

Sounding like Eeyore, but I have close to zero optimism about how this game will play out. The week 1 Browns (even though they lost to KC) gave me hope that the “system“ had potential. Fast forward-they’ve regressed, and seem erratic and discombobulated on both sides of the ball. I also get the sense of something fishy going on in the locker room (finger-pointing, morale)... Anyway, would love to be enormously wrong, but this Sunday has disaster written all over it.

Would be great news and give me a bit more hope.

Hunt and Conklin both returning in time for Sunday would be huge. Combine that with another week of conditioning for Chubb and our ground game could be primed to do some serious damage. Running all over them and controlling the clock is obviously our best path to a victory. I'd feel so much better nursing a 4th quarter lead knowing run game is clicking.

Ravens have looked very beatable all season (fun fact, in our ugly game last week, we outscored the Lions by more than the Ravens and Steelers outscored the Lions combined). Vegas has the Ravens favored by just 3.5, which to me feels like they're baiting the public to take Baltimore. Even with a broken QB, I feel like our chances are a lot better than most would think.

Keep an eye on the weather. Right now nothing of note other than maybe some light snow Sunday morning. However one of the latest model runs shows a couple of systems getting close. If they got close enough to interact could mean a chance of snow Sunday night.

GameDay plug for our latest article at RBF:

I'm in the same spot I've been the past few Browns games... I don't know which Baker is going to show up. His highs and lows are extremes and rarely gives us an average, even keel performance.

The Browns are good enough to win as a team when Baker is good enough to win. Kareem Hunt's return is going to help him.
