Just needs more playing time to learn not to throw into triple coverage.

Yeah that's about right.

Oh well, thanks for killing time until the Homeland finale.

What's funny is that it's not like Bowe is out there dogging it. He's actually putting forth some effort.

Is there a chance after the fumble and pick that I might not have to listen to a bunch of flowery Johnny talk all week?

Because if it said Quinn instead of Manziel on the back of his jersey, he'd be getting killed for this game. An absolute blahfest.

Manziel had a good game overall.

Dropped catches and no armed attempts at tackling made this game a loser

5.0 yards per pass attempt. Keeping those defenses awake at night.

The scary thing is there are many holes on the team that are more glaring than QB play.

Defense had 1 stop all game, but lets talk QB. Keep dreaming about Goff or Lynch or whoever you want, but the reality of it is whoever is back there isn't going to have success with Taylor Gabriel, Terrelle Pryor, and Marlon Moore as their weapons and defense that can't even get lucky enough to get more than 1 stop a game.

Don't be silly. This was all Johnny. Erving was giving him all the time in the world and our weapons were carving up the Seattle secondary, but Johnny just chose to check down because he is Johnny. New QB and we are taking the elevator out of the basement.

that stop seemed more on seattle than the browns defense

Absolutely. Contenders are the kind of teams that patch holes. Teams that suck as bad as the Browns need to put foundational pieces in place. Thus, even if Manziel is just mediocre, we should still look to fix the position.

Manziel does need to respond better to 2nd half adjustments

They have to draft a QB, that's not a debate. That still leaves holes in the offensive line, the entire WR corps and almost the entire D that needs fixed. That will only take about 35 years at our current rate of progress.
