Well then why the hell did we take all those receivers in last year's draft???
1 receiver picked in the first round who is out and the rest were picked up late in the draft. We took those wide receivers hoping to find a stud in the later rounds. They treat late round picks and undrafted players as a lottery ticket. There's no guarantee they will hit on those players.

Let me defend the Browns and the FO for a minute. Obviously we knew this was going to be a tough...

Ah shit. I can’t do it anymore. Especially because I heard last night from...let’s just say an inside guy...that the Browns locker room is “toxic”. This team has some pieces but the leadership and game planning sucks. Obviously the ownership is rotten to the core as well.

Last Browns game before the NBA starts. We can move on now.

I don't think there is much of a competition for that first pick. The 49ers aren't a good team but they are at least competitive.

Crowell still getting 15 touches a game is unacceptable
Hue changes the offense when we're down a touchdown or two. He wants to move the ball down the field but we really don't have the personnel to do that

I don't think Hue makes it past the bye at this rate

I feel like Hue having play calling duties is a major problem. This team won't win unless our QB is executing and Hue needs to be the guy coaching them up on the sideline. Playcalling prevents that from happening. Hire an OC and let them play call and make adjustments. Let Hue head coach and coach up the QBs.

You literally can't.

It's the youngest team in the NFL by a WIDE MARGIN. These things take time. It sucks, but stability is the answer here. Keep fighting past it.

These picks that they've acquired and used need time to develop. It doesn't happen in two years.

What they really need is to add more high value veterans to the roster in the off-season.

Not saying things need blown up necessarily, but the age of this team is used as a frequent justification for its abysmal play.

CBS showed a graphic - our team is not significantly younger than the team currently curbstomping us.

Garrett is a beast and can play...everyone else can go please

I don't think it's an option at this point unfortunately. Haslam burnt alot of bridges his first years of ownership by firing GMs and coaches too quickly. Best we can hope for is a OC to take over play calling and let Hue focus more coaching up the QBs we have.

Also, Watson hasnt been that good. If we had half an offense, they would have been in this game.

All this passing on Watson talk is overplayed. I have yet to see anything worth freaking out about with Watson.

His staff is making things easy for him and playing to his strengths. Good on them. Literally the opposite of what the Browns do.

But I haven't seen some sort of transcendent talent when I've watched Watson to this point. He would look SO bad on the Browns right now.

I love your name. I would say there's a pretty big talent difference between these two teams. The Texans were a playoff team the season before and the Browns are in the second year of a rebuild.

He's also got one of the best WRs in the league to throw to, which I think people overlook. Hopkins is a fully-developed veteran and the highest-paid receiver in the NFL. Dude has been elite with shit QB play before (not saying Watson is a shit QB, mind you). Osweiler was the only guy bad enough to drag him down.

Watson's main ability seems to be how he can keep plays alive long enough for Hopkins or Fuller to break coverage.
