There's a saying that young teams don't know how to win yet. Mental mistakes take a lot of forms, but that's exactly why this team has struggled for the past few years. I'd rather the team build a young nucleus than overpay veterans on the tail end of their careers, but it's no way to achieve a short term winning streak.
