I feel like a post like this is intentionally misleading.
It ignores that:
1. That 2016 first rounder has looked good when healthy, but has struggled with injuries. The talent is there clearly. And historically, WRs don't tend to hit their stride until year three anyway. There are outliers, sure, and the Evans/OBJ/Cooper draft class really fucked up expectations for the guys who followed, but generally that rule exists for a reason.
2. Yeah, one 2017 first rounder hasn't looked great. However, your post sure as hell doesn't mention that the other two first rounders look awesome. And while I agree Peppers hasn't been good, he's a fucking rookie. Give the kid some time.
3. No real argument on the Kizer thing. I don't think he was necessarily a bad pick, though. The Browns took a shot on him and it looks like he's going to fail, but I can't really blame them for trying, especially in the second. And at any rate, his career isn't over yet. The bad coaching and playcalling certainly haven't put him in a position to succeed.
It's also disingenuous to say "based on what we've seen so far" when none of their picks are past their second season. Guys take time to develop, and we've seen a lot of positives from the guys they have drafted.
