He looks sort of legit. Excited to see more. We need another guy who just has balls and shoots it. I thought that was Dotson at the beginning of the year, but he is not a good decisionmaker. Thomas looks like shooter, just shoot or pass and we need guys like that. Wade has done really well with it.

I'm tending this way also. He has a fundamentally sound, compact, repeatable, smooth, shot. At 6'5" with a pretty high release he should be able to get his shot off. I have no idea if he can defend. He doesn't look very explosive, but there is always a place for shooters. He's worth looking at.

Did Preston even play any real games with the Cavs? I don't remember seeing him much outside of summer league.

Well this guy is the opposite of Okoro if he's got a shot he's going to take it. Hes not taking bad shots per se but the difference in aggressiveness is striking

No comments on this guy since March. Not a big deal as he's just a bench/depth piece, but for what it's worth I think he's worth keeping. He checks all the boxes in terms of size/length/athleticism to go along with basic competence in most aspects of the game on both ends of the court. I hope the Cavs keep him (and guys like him) around. He's a guy who could blossom as he gets more experience.
