Can easily be done with this money hes getting and a personal trainer/nutritionist. At his age wouldnt surprise me if he packed it on before game 1 of the season

I dunno. Yes, it is possible for a kid that age to increase mass with intense weight training and a nutritionist in a comparatively short period of time. But I don't think it would be a good idea to have Mobley do the kind of heavy weight/low rep training that maximizes gains in mass. That kind of stuff can lead to injury, loss of flexibility, etc.. I think it's gotta be more of a slow go to build the right kind of muscle the right way.

I'd really worry about connective tissue injuries in his case if you tried to pack on bulk. It takes time to build up the stronger connective tissue necessary to handle increased weight properly.

If he wanted to put on 25 lbs before the season he'd have to do something silly like GOMAD and a lot of that mass would be flub.

He will be a work in progress for a few years both in the gym and on the court, no sense in rushing it.

Who’s to say he ain’t 7’1 225/230 right now his weight and height is base off of USC beginning of the year measurements ?………I be surprised since his last game sometimes in March/April he still weighs 215 ……….

He doesn’t look any bigger here than he did during the season imo.

Whatever weight he is right now, he looks like 25 pounds away from his ideal playing weight. Those legs especially need some bulk on them.

someone's got to put together a good $0.25/wing night list M-Th for Evan.

He could be still 7’ 215 I’m just saying nobody’s has got his measurements since whenever………But those legs as we use to say back in the days do look Boney….lol

It’s funny how we never hear about nba players failing PED tests. They’ve gotta be looking the other way.
The NBA is known for looking the other way insofar as their protocols make it very easy to pass them.

Yeah, in that widely circulated back flip video, he isn’t muscular, but doesn’t look emaciated either.

He has a good base to build upon. His upper body looks like shorter work than his lower body. Don’t know who our trainer is, but those long legs are worth $500 million most likely over his expected career, and need developed very carefully.

Yeah, I’d guess every team has a Mormon guy on staff to pee for everyone with Silvers blessing.
