Damn, I know its a highlight video of an uncontested shooter, but he drained a lot in a row. :love struck:

He moves like a Paul Pierce former teamate... KG, hope the kid develops to have a similar impact, with a nicer demeanor....
Garnett's intensity is a lot of what made him so great. If he'd be a Cav we would have loved him.

I know I’m not the only one but is anyone else relieved that dudes Jumpshot isn’t a lost cause? It looks nba ready from jump and i am just tired of young guys with trash jumpers.

I'm sure they're gonna have him shoot 1000 a day. If he can be even okay from 3, it'll do so much for him and the team.

Jumper looking pure

His follow through is pure. A bit high of a release point but at 7'1 i dont mind it, high release point at his height is almost unblockable.

He brings it up nice though, not an extended follow through which i hate on some shooters. He has a weird base with his feet, i lot of big men do that. I think it comes from growing so much and having such long legs, you know the high waste issue, lol.

But he is quite the shooter, i noticed he didnt make it part of his offense as a freshman, but the touch from outside is there. It looks natural even if i picked on it just a bit. The thing i love most is he doesnt bring it from low. In a pick and pop, if the guard has to get out on him, its going to be very difficult for a 6'4 guy to really effect that shot much.

I dunno. Yes, it is possible for a kid that age to increase mass with intense weight training and a nutritionist in a comparatively short period of time. But I don't think it would be a good idea to have Mobley do the kind of heavy weight/low rep training that maximizes gains in mass. That kind of stuff can lead to injury, loss of flexibility, etc.. I think it's gotta be more of a slow go to build the right kind of muscle the right way.

I'd really worry about connective tissue injuries in his case if you tried to pack on bulk. It takes time to build up the stronger connective tissue necessary to handle increased weight properly.
Agreed. Of course we all recognize that he does need some more meat on his bones, but I'd be fine betting on him being able to develop a reliable outside shot and calling him a PF. We've heard of plenty of bigs whose knees or feet couldn't withstand the rigors of supporting an abnormally massive body. I feel like there is a higher chance that he runs into chronic injuries from putting on too much weight too quickly than there is that he fails to adequately increase his range to be enough of a threat on the perimeter. Unless we lack a capable C on the roster, I don't see many scenarios where we aren't better off with him as a 7-foot PF.
