Looked very confident shooting and he got it up quick. I'd like him to find his spots to pass. Went inside without an exit plan a couple of time.

He is clearly stronger and thicker this season. He looked much bigger on the floor... last year he looked pretty lean and thin from the side.. now he projects in 3d.

Looked like he should have during a summer league game: better than the year before and clearly a superior player on the floor

Okoro looked *shorter* than Green to me. His ability to effectively be a SF should be decreasing by the day.

While Green torched the Cavaliers in the boxscore, i think they did a better job on him defensively than they'll get credit for. Green scored the fast majority of his points going backwards or laterally. Rarely did he blow by Okoro.

I prefer Okoro at SG, but he can guard the SF just fine if you apply some strong fundamentals defensively. Think 6'5 Andre Iguodala.

The biggest issue for Okoro is his dribble. He will work on his shooting, good drive, great defense, strong as hell base, but that dribble will make it tough for him to be a good SG. I think Okoro is a good player when he finishes, but not a great player. Thats ok, not every player needs to be a star.

Iggy has a 6'9 wingspan where I think Okoro is somewhere around 6'6. That's a huge difference. Guys like Marcus Smart who are also good at defending larger players also have larger wingspans. Okoro seems to have good fundamental timing but he needs to get even stronger if he's not going to have the lanky arms to dislodge the ball and stuff. Like Jrue Holiday. I think if we draft a big wing who can shoot, it doesn't matter what position these guys play on offense... I'm a little jealous of the Raptors core size...

Okoro looked ok yesterday. I like him trying to develop his offensive game.
Until he actually develops a “consistent” outside I’m not all in on him. Several times yesterday the Rockets backed off of him from 20 feet out and dared him to hit the open J and he “clanged” three of them. That’s why the position is called SG….because that player is supposed to be able to actually shoot the rock and be a threat from outside

Iggy is a great comp for Okoro. I see him as a similar type of player & he’s jacked just like Iggy was/is.

We don't need to shortchange him. He has a 6'8" wingspan. So yeah he gives up a half inch on each arm.

duh he is not a SG never will be he has not pull up game at all no isolation game at all and outside of cutting there is no chance he plays the position offensively by rule. He is a on ball forward slasher who needed to improve his outside shot a lot in the offseason. He can be used running the point some like game 1 if he has Sexton next to him but not when he is paired with Thomas or others who are not floor spacers at all either.
The Cav SL roster lacks a clear obviously gifted shooter which is shocking given the need for one on the roster and makes me think Bickerstaff doesn't like anyone stretching the floor at all

I believe Okoro played okay yesterday, but definitely am hoping to see more. I wish he was playing more than just two games as Fedor reported.

I understand stats are not everything and it was just one game, but his stat line was not overwhelming compared to some of the other rookies and second year players that have been trotted out there by other teams. Outside of the stats though, it seemed to me that he got most of his action bullying guys to the rim, which is a great skill of his, but I think we all know he has that in his arsenal.

Hope to see him get it done some more on the outside this next game. Maybe he would be less effective (think like a pitcher who has a bad ERA in Spring Training since he's trying to work on/experiment with some things) but I think it'd be a better look into how he is developing the other parts of his game.

Certainly do not think he looks bad, but I think certain people need to pump the breaks a bit. For example Justin Rowan is saying he looks as if he does not belong in Summer League based on the way he played, and I don't think he's quite at that level at all. Especially when I am seeing other guys fill up the stat sheet and score 20-30 points along with it.

Iggy is his extreme ceiling though. Plus hopefully Okoro never dates Swaggy P like Iggy did.
