I've commented on this before but id like to see the Cavs steal some of BKN's Bruce Brown sets for Okoro. Brown is a good, thick inside finisher and solid passer in the short roll. Using him as thr roll man is a cool mixup I could see doing wonders for Okoro who is an even better finisher with a similar build

How tall is this man ? Im seeing numbers all over the place…

Yeah I agree. Okoro should be setting screens as well. He is strong as hell and has a quick first step. Get him rolling to the rim

Like for some reason I thought this dude was like 6’8”… Then it’s 6’6”…. Read an article that he’s 6’4” small forward….

WTF…

I love when I googled this I got this picture:

I think he measured 6'4" and change w/o shoes.

Sets? This coaching staff has evolved beyond the need of “sets”

Okoro is smart and can be involved in the offense, but he needs some direction. I totally get they worked on defense last year. They have to put these guys in a position to succeed offensively or they will spin their wheels

I'm officially starting to get worried here. His handle and overall assertiveness was poor in summer league. Now it seems to have carried over to the first preseason game. Defensively he has problems defending SF's due to his size but has no skill to play SG in today's NBA.

So you're telling me he's a tweener with tons of offensive question marks and undersized to successfully defend SF's in the NBA?

Unfortunately every NBA scout in the NBA stated that before he entered the draft.... but the Cavs scouts? IN LOVE! #HardWorker

I noticed last night and also last year that Okoro is sometimes afraid to shoot the ball. When the clock is winding down he ends up passing it to someone that has maybe a second or two to shoot the ball. This ends up in a rushed shot when he could have taken a better one. I would say he is the biggest problem on the team. His inability to score and the size to guard small forwards.

Honestly I thought he was taller than 6'-4" in shoes and could at least defend SF's. In college he had the strength to defend wings but the lack of height is killing him in the NBA. Also in college he was way more assertive on offense and showed a high IQ with his passing. In the NBA teams can all see he can't dribble or shoot. Everyone is jacked so his strength isn't nearly as much of an advantage esp when teams know he can't shoot the rock.

Coaches are demanding passing up good shots for great looks and he rarely has the green light as one of the great shot options. He needs to attack the rim a lot this season and slowly inject a corner 3 that is very reliable

Not worried about Okoro. Am worried about general roster make up of what is essentially a 3 Guard line-up, 2 of which are bad defensively and the 3rd is stuck on either the 3 or best offensive player 1-3.

This team is going to look bad whenever teams decide to put alot of wings or wing size players on the floor. I don't understand how a GM would be satisfied with this level of wing depth.

If we eventually gets to a rotation of Sexton, Garland, and Okoro as a guard rotation with Mobley, Allen, and Markkanen as our bigs then 3 or 4 wings to round it out, we might have something.
