Believe me I want to watch the games. Fox sports just won't let me. I got NBA stream and that shit was still blocked local blackout. I have no choice but to look at stat line.

can watch the games next day on nba full hd

The way he stays with his man and ability to contest shots is underrated which you will never see on the stat sheet. Harden could not even drive to the basket and he could not get the foul calls he gets. His foot movement and defensive posture is too good. Him at just 19 hrs old is impressive.
Another thing I noticed is his controlled gambles. He will jump into a passing lane if he expects a pass and he knows the guy he's guarding is not quick enough to heat him on the backdoor cut. Did it a few times against Harris

Yeah he did a number of times - the announcers even pointed out today as well. So close to get the steaks but his anticipation is off the charts.

He also tries to go for steals by anticipating an entry pass..he will often jump and be very close to snatching it. He does get almost one of those a game imo.

He contests shot very well on the perimeter without fouling. He consciously jumps to the side to contest. If he had a couple of inches more of reach then he would have been perfect. But that's great that he contests like that to try to counter that.

He does get a shit ton of bogus calls against him. Coaching staff needs to tell him to keep doing what he is doing and not be afraid to be aggressive. He isn't doing anything wrong..just getting the short hand of the stick most often.

According to this he guarded Harden and Durant for a total of 10:02 Wednesday night and they scored a combined 4 points.

How good is he going to be once he gets a little pro experience and learns the opponents' tendencies?

Looks like he is already on their tendencies. Looks like he adjusts during the game to the players and the rookie treatment he gets from the refs. Very quick learner.

I think the reason he does so well against Harden, in particular, is because Okoro doesn’t waste movement. If he gets a steal, he’s not lunging his whole body forward. If he mans a guy up, Okoro does not do anything more than position himself to contest the shot.

Against Harden - a guy that has made a career out of capitalizing on those unnecessary movements - that ability is absolutely huge.

Yep... always in a stance. As a kid playing basketball when defending you were told to watch the player's movement/body rather than watch the ball...he takes it a step forward and combines that with what he expect the player to do as far as his overall tendencies go, how he would attack against the team's current defensive position/scheme and insetad of trying to stop him dead on, he just leads the player to the spots he wants him to go. He doesn't defend the player by trying to stop him...he is like a matador, leading the bull to where he wants him to go.

That he held his own whenever he was caught guarding Kyrie on the inside is more evidence the Cavs made the right call.
