I just wanted to get everyone's feelings on what they would rather have if we could trade to get another all-star type player. Do you think we need a big body down low like an Elton Brand, or another perimeter shooter like Redd or BDiddy? I think either way we go it would put us over the top but what would you rather have?

This should be in the trade thread. Maybe you should make a poll and list a bunch of choices.

agree this should be in a trade thread, but we need another perimitor scorer more imo.

is there a way that I can put it in the trade thread or delete it and make a new one?

I think it depends on how long Z can keep playing. If he can hold his own in the playoffs for another 3 years I would look for an all-star shooting guard. If not I would split it down the middle and get a solid SG and a solid center.

I've been wondering the same thing, thanks for the post. What I think we need is a bigger physical body that can score down low. I know we have Wallace and Z but they are both at the end of their careers and if we can get a 1 2 punch with LeBron and a big guy we can spread the floor. I just want to see something new because we have tried over the past few years to get shooters like Hughes n Wally but it seems to not work. I just want to see how LeBron plays with a mobile big guy who plays tough and can rebound and score.

Dude, just keep one name... Every time you re-register the mods know it...

If Pavlovic can regain his 2006 form, I think Elton Brand would make the Cavs a better team next year (a better team that the others could make the Cavs). If we have a gaping hole at SG (sort of occupied by Wally and Pavs) then Redd is the logical choice. That's the big crap shoot Brown and Ferry have to make, if you ask me.

Any of those players would bring a championship to Cleveland. For me, it's a draw between Davis, and Brand. However, the likelyhood of us getting any of those players is slim to none.

could you imagine a All-Star caliber pg bringing it down the court, driving lanes, throwing lobs and having Lebron actually playing off the ball?

this is a rhetorical question

I think if I had to put them in order, I'd go with...
1. Baron
2. Elton
3. Artest
4. Redd

I don't know who MVP4LBJ is? I go to Ohio State and I was on a computer in the library? So I don't know what this means..?
