Brooks is a guy you start while you groom your qb of the future behind him. This signing doesn't eliminate their need.

Doesn't eliminate it, but it does deminish it, maybe they want Brooks to start for 3 or so years so Young wouldn't be the choice because he can start in 1 or 2 seasons, while a later round QB would be ready in a few.

The team that could do it is the Cardinals (if they don't take Vernon Davis).

Warner is getting up there.. Plus, Dennis Green is big on the Randall Cunningham/ Daunte Culpepper types like he had in Minnesota.

Although if the Cardinals did take Davis they would have the best offense in the NFL hands down... I believe they were towards the top last season.. You add a probowl back and a potential elite TE.. Devastating for the rest of the NFC

Yeah "F" that..not to mention they drafted Antrelle Rolle last year, give them some LB's and D-Line and they are playoffs no doubt.

I'd like Vince Young though...everyone I want is going to be gone, I'll take Young or trade down for Lawson.
