The freaking Yankees. Their payroll is laughable, and despite it- they can't get their crap together. I honestly believe they are a long shot to even play in the postseason. They can fill that lineup card with nine guys who average 30 HR's a year, but it won't matter because their pitching has been suspect all year. Not until recently has Randy Johnson started pitching better. They did get a pitcher in the Abreau deal, but he's sporting a near 5.00 ERA.

The Red Sox pitching is better then the NYY and I don't see them winning more games then the White Sox. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they have no chemistry anymore, the yankee teams that won in the late 90s were more so teams, not superstar line ups that you only find in the all star game, and dealing out huge contracts for pitchers isnt paying off for them, Pavano (who i hate to bash because he came up with the sox) has done jack. they have no pitching prospects because they trade them all away, and most of the players on the yanks will be retired in the next 3-5 years. not a way to run a franshise.
