If he decides to stay here, we have to reward his loyalty with a better team. But with how long he takes to decide, I’m not even sure if that’s an option.. sigh I don’t know anymore.

I think the front office have to be proactive about how present their vision forward. They can set up trades and a new coach all before or on draft night. Have the plan and present it to LeBron. Have all the trades lined up to execute on LeBron agreeing to stay. If he cuts off communication or says he wants to explore free agency then just move on.

You got it exactly right; I feel the same way. Let LBJ know they ain't happy with the season either, are committed to getting better fast, tell him we're making wholesale changes, let him in on more than we might otherwise. Offer him a stake in the team. Ask him what players he wants assuming it can happen. Tell him Love is out of here. "Whatever it takes" to get him to stay. Front office should be already planning for it and I would be disappointed to find out they're not. Time is precious.

Offer him a stake in the team.

I have to think we're basically guaranteed to get caught and stripped of 1st-round picks for eternity if we tried this.

I'd like to think that the fallout from Durant's can't-beat-em-join-em move more or less prevents PHI and/or HOU from being realistic options, as I still think it's better than 50-50 we make it to face at least one of them, although they're two of the teams I could live with him signing with.

Honestly, he should probably stay here. Not only to avoid the ring chaser label, but because this is the only place he can go and play the way he wants to and possibly be competitive. He's not going to stand around and hold the ball in a D'Antoni offense with Chris Paul and James Harden, or on a team with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.

Not to mention, he would have no room to work inside in Philly since you would have Embiid down there and you don't have to guard Simmons outside of the paint. Those teams don't need him and aren't going to let him play like he does here.

Los Angeles would let him do whatever he wants. They can bring him and George in there But they don't have much else. Lonzo is garbage. Kuzma's okay. I think that's where he'll end up, but it's not really a better situation than here.

As long as "Cleveland" is a choice in the poll, no brainer. People actually think he SHOULD leave the Cavs?!

Can't see that sentiment remaining after emotions die down once playoffs are over...

Re-read the original post. Granted, I'm not sure if it was initially edited. Of course, it currently doesn't make sense to include Cleveland at all as it's written.

People on here absolutely are saying LeBron "should" leave, which is also largely based on the emotion of the moment.

No edits...the question more simply put is if you are LeBron, what is the best move for you?

He really doesn’t want to leave Cleveland

The sad thing is our roster and franchise sucks so much ass that we are going to drive him away when he truely would rather stay

We don’t have a single star.

I have to admit tho Kyrie leaving was a monumental surprise and no franchise ever would’ve been ready for it. Then Isiah thomas failing was equally unexpected because he was a 30 ppg scorer on a great team.

Kyrie ruined us. The equivalent is like Curry out of nowhere saying screw KD and leaving and GS only getting a bum back in return

Houston. I think LeBron may have interest in Philly but I’m not sure Philly wants LeBron.

Bron wants to stay in Cleveland but this franchise is an incompetent piece of dog shit.

I don't know if it's possible but I'd like to see him in Houston. I'm good with them and Philly. I'm good with us only if we can get him another star and if we lose the fuck out of lue

I really hope he doesnt go to the lakers...would be a sell out move...however i dont think he heads west..too much talent there, why make your life harder than it needs to be at his age
