Which candidate do you line up with?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm voting for either Paul or Thompson. Paul cause I agree with his stances on the issues. And Thompson only as a last ditch effort to beat Hillary. And goddamn, whomever wins needs to get us the **** out of Iraq, and do something about health care. Mainly I just don't want to see Hillary win.

Word, excellent post. Hopefully Paul does ok, but if/when he doesnt get the ticket, ill vote for Thompson.

I thought I'd give it a go from an outsiders perspective.

Dodd, Gravel and Kucinich all equal on 40
Clinton and Obana were next on 33

Thompson and Hunter were equal on 1 with me.

Romney 47
Hunter 42
Thompson 39

Do people still think gay marriages is a bad thing?

Do people still think gay marriages is a bad thing?

It really is only the extreme right and the religious fanaticals.

My take......whatever floats your boat. Does it really affect anyone and their daily lives.

Now back to some heterosexual banter and Browns football. ::grunt::

I don't. But then again...how could Pip and myself get married if we did.
I know...

In all honesty, I've got no beef with gay people at all...In fact, a couple of my employees are gay.. They're some of my best employees, hardest workers, and do so with a certain zest and flare..:chuckles: They're cool with me.. If they want to get married and live a life together, who am I to say they shouldn't, or that it's a bad thing ??

Are you kidding? It's a lot more than that who oppose gay marraiage.

2006-MAY-08: A Gallup Organization poll
On extending marriage to include same-sex couples:
58% are opposed.
39% are in favor
3% are undecided or did not respond.

California is a pretty liberal state...here's what they think -
2006-MAR: Poll by Angus Reid Global Scan:
This poll was taken among adults in California. They found that a substantial majority of California residents favored legal registration of loving, committed, same-sex relationships, but half disapproved of allowing same-sex couples to marry.

When asked whether the state should recognize same-sex relationships, or merely consider them as roommates, their response was spit in a three-way tie:

32% felt that they should be allowed to marry.
32% felt that they should be allowed to form civil unions or domestic partnerships, but not be allowed to marry.
32% felt that their relationships should not be legally recognized at all.
4% were unsure or did not respond.

Marriage is a union between a mad an a woman in my opinion. I think they should be allowed to form some sort of unio/partnership, but not be allowed to marry...call it something else.
Does this mean I don't like gays? Not at all.

I just dont see how it matters at all. They are not doing anything to harm anyone or themselves. It just seems ridiculous that it is even an issue. Baffling!
