Marty wont even play in the NBDL...he is three years away at the MINIMUM from even getting Diop like minutes.

lol yeah he needs to go on the eric cartman diet.. BEEFCAKE!!!

It shouldn't take Marty 3 years to gain weight. If that's the case, Cleveland's nutritionists and personal trainers should be fired for unacceptable incompetence (unless Marty has serious genetic/metabolic issues). Right now, right this very second, Marty has far more offensive skills than Diop, so it's more his body and not his skills to hold him back a year or two.

Kid is 18 and couldnt even sniff the floor in Europe, Darko was the exact same but he was light years ahead of Marty.

This is Darkos third year, he still wont see major minutes, exactly what makes you think Marty will?

Darko had a coach that hated young players and foreign players. Since Darko was both, he was doubly screwed. There is a recent article saying Billups tried to get Brown to play Darko and even argued on Darko's behalf (even Pistons teammates were questioning Larry's very negative and hard stance on the kid). But those who defend Larry Brown say the Pistons were stacked with big men (and they were). Darko was like the 3 or 4th big man. Detroit is simply more stacked in bigs than we are. So if it's just by default and our lack of depth, Marty could see garbage time once in a blue moon.

with so many other threats in cleveland, expect lebron's ppg to stagnate or decline by a couple of points (nothing lower than 25 ppg) but an increase in assists, made possible by the following factors:

1) james goes on fastbreak with hughes (2 on 1) either a monster dunk or a nifty pass
2) james double-teamed: kick it out to damon jones or donyell marshall
3) james isolated: bring it down low to zee
4) james runs pick and roll with gooden
5) james sets up snow for open shot

he was unable to maximize his full potential with newble, mcinnis and wagner running the other spots last year, and yet he managed 7.2 apg, what more this year...

I think its going to be LeBron and he'll come near averaging a triple double with around 25.1 PPG, 8.5 RPG and 9.5 APG. LeBron is phenominal and he's just amazing, I dont think he's gonna do anything wrong in his time in the NBA. He'll just keep on getting better and better.
