Why Wedge Keeps His Job

After last night's game, you gotta be wondering why. He could've left Westbrook in to pitch the 9th.

But Wedge goes by the book, and the book says 100 pitches and the starter's out. He's like Forrest Gump.

So why does he still have a job?

Because the Tribe would be sued for discrimination if they fired a retard.

this is not really wickmans fault... becuase everyone knows you have to be winning by 2-3 runs before u bring in wickman anyway... which is kinda sad...

This team is awful..but I'm glad we're awful maybe it will show Dolan that free agency means not only keeping your players but getting GOOD ones from other teams. Not bargain basement players that no one else wants like we seem to be getting.

Increase the payroll like Chicago and maybe we can win as many games as they do.

Its not his fault these palyers cant do there job, and its not just one player--its everybody. Which is another reason why he will keep his job.

If one player was horrible and was costing the team he could put somebody else in the game, but that isnt the case. One game the Tribe will get shutout and lose 1-0 the next they will score 8 runs. Then a starter gets rocked the next game your starter pitches well like Westbrook did and the bullpeen loses the game.

Sooner or later this team will start rolling, there is no way this team plays this bad the whole year.

We could have had Jim Leyland, who btw, is a real fvcking manager... Jigo, I agree, but Wedge is a retard..

He even proved it last year...The team bailed him out last August, but we were pretty average to below before that, and look at how he managed the team the last few games of the season..

He couldn't handle the pitching staff, and he refused to change the lineup when 4 guys were struggling... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WE ONLY NEEDED 2 WINS AT THE END..

Leyland beat the living crap out of us in 1997 World Series, and then he becomes free, and we decide to go out and get an old fart named Charlie Manuel then we get a guy named Eric Wedge who cares more about his dang mustache then the club..
