Our odds just got better this season. Still not favorites, but they got a lot better than last season!

And if Ben is retarded, Palmer is a cripple, and if McAIR can't throw will holding on to his crutches, then we have a really good shot at dominating the division. Who knows from there on! I know its not going to happen, but hey, this is after all, ANY GIVEN SUNDAY!

So pretty much having the best FA in franchise history, have a bunch of steals in the draft, and while our divisional opponents are getting worse, you still think we are only going to win 6 games?

Let me ask u. What did u predict in the season when the Browns made the playoffs? Were u surprised?

And I know Ben is not that good. He just fits in their system!

Ben doesnt have to do shit all game. With an average defensive line and an average running game Ben Roethlisberger is an average QB.

Law don't get your hopes up for a huge let down. Winslow is just getting back, we probably wont see Braylon until week 8 we have a quarterback who has started what 5 games?

We are a very young team, I loved our Free Agency..Bently was exciting to land and the draft was very strong IMO.

I'm going to say 8-8m, losses to the Texans and Lions will turn into wins, 41-0 debacles at Pitt get much closer.

Lets break it down.

Our DBs are probably the worst in the division.

Our LBs are probably the worst in the division.

Our DL is the worst in the division.

Our OL is third best in the division.

Our QB is the worst in the division.

Our RB is the worst in the division.

Our WRs with a health Bray is probably second in the division.

Our TEs are second/third, depending on how good Winslow turns out to be.

Our depth/bench is absolutely dead last in the division.

So what exactly leads you to believe we will finish anything better than third in this division??? The only team we MAY have a chance at beating out is the Ravens.

Mac your forgetting one thing...we're in the toughest division in football. On paper we might not look as good, but who the hell thought Leigh Bodden would challenge to be the best corner on this team?

Who knows our offensive line might gel and we could overtake some other teams, I beleive we have the best Center in the division and thats the most important position on the line. Upgrades all around.

Who do the Steelers have at DB? Maybe McFadden but he's not better then Bodden or Baxter. Cutch is still somewhat decent too. I'd say 3rd.

It's not like we're in the NFC North and everyone is 2-6 come midseason man. Pessimism is ugly man.

Im being realistic.

I dont get how you guys expect this team to be good, THEY ARENT.

Our DBs are the worse. We have a new starter at S, Russ is avg at best. Bax is solid and Bodden is still a question mark although I do like him.

Our OL is in bad shape, we have a very good C, a soso LT a good RT and two old and aging guards that probably cant stay health for an entire season.

For this team to compete in this division, we have to get a DL, which we don't have.

We have potential at LB, but our LBs are garbage in this system if we do not have a DL that can free them up to make plays.

Teams are going to run on us all day and have success because our DL is still weak. I dont even know who our LE is, that's bad news..

We are moving in the right direction, I never said blow the team up, but this team is two off-seasons away from being in the playoffs.
