I thiknk he has been a FA right???? I think we all said he would be a great addition but not for too much cash...he is getting older but the guy can flat out play and he knows the system like the back of his hand so he wouldnt be a downgrade and I would greet this guy with open arms

Sorry about repeat topic. I saw Willie's picture on front page of ESPN football section and was unaware it had been discussed.

BTW, he's in town.

Yep he is visiting in town today, Kalimba Edwards resigned with the Lions so we will really make a push at him, I'd prefer Willie or Julian.

I wouldn't mind McGinest if the price was reasonable. It would be a similar situation as Ted Washington. Bringing in a good vet to fill a spot and provide leadership until a longer term solution can be found.

It's not looking like any big time pass rushers are going to be added in free agency so McGinest could provide some of what the Browns need for now.

I doubt it, maybe if Romeo gets a real discount or we just solely focus on DL in the draft...

The rumored deal for JP is 5 a year and we'd probably have to fork over 3-4 for Willie and we had like 12-15 million left after the first 5 guys.

I'd rather have him because we have 1 stopgap and Washington they are nice to plug a position but not multiple ones. I wouldn't mind McGinest so much if we had a few young up and coming LB's right now it's just Chaun and we need 4 LB's.
