WNBA Finals.

The WNBA Finals start shortly...which begs the question.

Nobody on earth even knows they start this week. Why is the WNBA still around? I admire girls trying to play basketball, but man, it is just awful to watch. The product is so bad, that one of the WNBA's top players is going to Russia to play to end her career because there is no money here.

I thank girls basketball for Swin Cash and Candace Parker...gotta love girls that look great and can play ball, but honestly..

Does anybody even care that there is a WNBA? I don't even think women care that there is a WNBA..

You catch a game, the seats are empty...the ratings have to be horrible...

I just dont think this is something that is ever going to take off. It has been over ten years now and the product is still marginal at best and nobody seems to care, still..

Of all the womens' sports...b-ball is the worst by far. With softball...a good % of the girls are pretty smokin hot. Some of the soccer girls are hot and they are actually pretty good.

With basketball, they're just terrible. They're not very strong, they can't do anything exciting and the scores of games are typically pretty pathetic.

My Sociology prof recently ripped the WNBA for some reason..

He said girls should not be playing basketball. Their hips are wider for child birth, and they come down on their knees hard which makes an ACL tear almost twice as likely for a women than a male.

I can't watch a WNBA game, it's either a lucky 3 that drops, or they drive in slow motion and bank a shot. It's not appealing..

This one girl tried to tell me that out of 10 games the Sparks would steal one against the Lakers.I told her to never speak to me again about sports EVER.

The Bobcats would smack the best wnba team by 50 every game atleast and then get yelled at for not playing well.

Well, I don't know about the boys HS team, but theres something about women's basketball that just isn't entertaining at all.

I would have to say that my favorite women's sport is college softball, just watch a game, doesn't matter who's playing.

Well, I don't know about the boys HS team, but theres something about women's basketball that just isn't entertaining at all.

The forced push shot from 15 feet is disturbing...

Women's Tennis, Soccer, La crosse are all okay.... Women's basketball just doesn't seem like real basketball....

No one cares about the WNBA. I've always frowned upon it. It's an embarrassment of all sorts.

It should just go away quietly, I'm sure no one would even notice.

The WNBA is still around??? News to me...

Actually the only reason I know they are still around is because at least once a week I'm fooled in the summer by one of those scores on the ESPN ticker. I think Sports Guy at one time came up with a great suggestion... if you're gonna keep the WNBA around, at least run the scores on the ticker in pink or something.
