They always find unique and interesting ways to bury wrestlers. Oddly enough, that's the only part of the show they put creativity into.

Holy shit, Darby Allin is awful on the mic

He's much better on pre-recorded vignettes. Didn't help he was sharing the ring with MJF but I agree, his delivery is very awkward at times.

It was jarring how bad he was in that segment yesterday

I dont like Allin; under any circumstance.

As far as size goes; who are the most entertaining in right talents of the last 20 years? Punk, Bryan, Michaels, Jericho, Angle, Styles, Guerrero? None of them are overly large. WWE attempting to Pivot is them trying to save face and focus 100% attention to a different market to avoid competition.

I wouldnt be surprised if they brought back ridiculous gimmicks and went all in on larger than life characters and fully catered to children.

It’s good to have legitimate size on your roster for the sake of booking and storylines but as far as workers go (aside from Brock when he cares), the best are all smaller guys that can go.

Look at Adam Cole. You see that guy and he just drips big ticket star. Naturally charismatic regardless of size and he can go in the ring.

Vince is just jaded and still has the affinity for old school muscle behemoths.

Would we consider Roman a guy with size? But absolutely the wrestling world has moved on from those guys quite a while ago. I'm so glad a guy like Dante Martin is in AEW. As a character, he's super raw but holy hell the guy is an insane athlete. Reminds me of Ricochet back in the day, but that guy's gimmick got destroyed. The day Vince leaves the business (or more likely, dies), as long as it goes into the right hands... That's going to be a very fun competition. And I can honestly see there being much more of a partnership when Vince isn't around because we're at a point where as fans there isn't really an issue liking multiple organizations for different reasons.

I'd definitely consider Roman a bigger guy. He's very athletically built but his move set is all power. He's another rare breed as far as ring performance goes for his size plus he's got a motor. Sucks it took WWE so long to book him correctly.

Yeah, but it's worth it for this run.

Roman Reigns is maybe the best act in wrestling right now. It's incredible. He and Miro have been top tier for me this year, Miro only recent and Roman for quite a while now.

I also can't forget Walter. He wrestles so rarely but he's one of the best bigs to ever do it IMO.

Ever since coming back from recovering from Leukemia, he's been the best thing about the WWE. Even in comparison to the Adam Cole's, Ciampa's, ect. It might be because of how much of a change his character has made from hate to real heat... I think Jericho has had one of the best characters the last 5-6 years but this Reigns is top 5 in that time, at least for mainstream stuff. On the AEW end, I enjoy the wrestling a heck of a lot more than the actual stories.

AEW has/had an all time wrestling story built up, and then Adam Page left to have a kid.

I think it ultimately culminates at some point, but man is unfortunately timing

I'm not sure with Danielson, Punk and Cole all clearly bigger stars that you can still put the belt on Page and get the same reaction and pay off the storyline in the same way.

I think that ship might have sailed.
