WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Too many repeat venues is the biggest issue. Visiting the same markets 3x in a year is silly.

They definitely need to start visiting the west coast more often.

You guys excited for the possible return of Bray or are you kinda over him?

I think the person behind Bray Wyatt, William Rotunda, is tremendously talented and one of the most creative wrestling minds in the world.

But I also think it's A. very difficult to book a "supernatural" character effectively in 2022 and B. Wyatt is one of those kind of guys who will take things way off the rails very quickly if he's not very closely kept in check.

I really liked the concept of the Bray Wyatt/Fiend funhouse monster character, but that whole gimmick works way better in a vignette/cinematic setting than it does in a live action in front of an audience setting.

Agreed entirely.

If we’re getting Cape Fear Wyatt, though… I’d probably start actively watching Raw.

Yeah I love Rotunda's creative mind and wish he could have free reign in creative segments. The Firefly Funhouse segments were some of my favorite all time in WWE. I like the idea of The Fiend and the character work. Wasn't a huge fan of the red light matches. But I think Bray is talented in the ring.
I'm very excited to hopefully see him back at Extreme Rules. Idk what or how they will bring him back and in what capacity. I hope it brings back the Funhouse though. That shit is pure entertainment for me.

I think HHH wants a grittier program than Vince so Bray may have more room to expand the Fiend than he did under Vince.

The Fiend sucks

Give me backwoods Bray

Pretty excited about the Dynamite Anniversary show. They’ve really kicked it up a notch since the CM Punk fiasco.

I tell the story all the time when i was working at the bar in the Hyatt next to the arena that in 2004 all of WWE stayed there and got to meet allot of the stars. Some of them like Tripple H are enormous human beings, all of them love Vince and all of them across the board were very nice and polite to all of the staff including myself.

I am not a fan of wrestling, but they will always have my respect. I got to shake hands with Vince and Rick Flair, probably Rick Flair is the more impressive meet? Right? lol

They can do a ton of shit with Bray and make it thrive.

I agree the Fiend got stale, wwe felt the need of a new Undertaker though.

People would mark out more if he had his lantern and not the fiend mask though.

Pair him with another cult like Wyatt Family and slowly come face to face with the bloodline is what I'd do for entertaining purposes.

Bray and Dexter potentially just screams good TV. Add in a few more young guys.

A new cult would interest me.

Wonder if it’d be all new guys, or if Rowan would be involved.

I am excited because the white rabbit stuff has been extremely well done. I hope they follow it up with other things like it going forward.

Rowan would be cool in the nostalgia aspect, it's just he's not a threat. I would be pleased if they pushed Bray to threat to Roman status, and give something Bloodline to worry about, that'll catch my eye, anyways.

Hopefully it's done right, Bray got shafted in a few of his pushes where he was clearly over with the universe. He'll be more than over with an exciting return.

Supposedly there was another fight at AEW.

Likely with Sammy and Andrade. Endlessly funny.
