One of the top stars is leaving WWE after Mania. Won’t spoil it, but you can find it online.
You don't think he could be a major draw if wrote correctly and there wasn't part timers in front of him? I beg to differ, dude could be a star and take on a Stone Cold persona better than everyone in that place. No big loss.

Just bad writing on top of bad writing. Cool story having him turn heel the night Roman announced his cancer. Then making him lose again and again after turning heel.
Wrestlers are just spokes on the wheel in the industry.
I remember when the shield first made their debut on raw, and literally every message board talked about 3 things: 1) Roman was the Rock's cousin, 2) Rollins was incredibly talented, 3) Ambrose could be the next SCSA if he worked on his character. That was 6 years ago. He doesnt have the mic skills, his persona is more Pillman than SCSA. He was given a push, but never really grabbed the audience. You don't think he could be a major draw if wrote correctly and there wasn't part timers in front of him? "The way he grabbed his crotch at that fake wresting event was disgusting. Peyton Manning would never use his crotch to gain notoriety" - Colin CowherdYou know, given that Johnny Gargano is from Cleveland, we really need to have Baker Mayfield show up and help him win a match at some point. Baker would be a great heel.
You guys actually believe Ambrose is leaving? When’s the last time they published a wwe.com article about a guy that’s leaving? When’s the last time they had a guy on the mic bitching that was supposably leaving? This has work written all over it.
It definitely may be, but I've read some speculation that the reason they announced it is because Ambrose is no longer going to be on TV and people would inevitably start asking questions if they didn't comment.
He could be signing elsewhere, but there’s a 90 day no compete
Right, but my point is that he told WWE he wasn't re-signing and so, given that he is an upper mid-card guy and not the usual jobber that asks out, it probably benefits them more to just take him off of TV until his contract is up in April. I don't think they're releasing him. I think they'll sit on him until his contract is done. If they send him out and humiliate him every week by having him job, it's just going to draw more attention to WWE for being petty, and it sends a bad message to everyone under contract or considering signing there.
Thus, it makes sense to just remove him from TV and then let him go when the contract ends.
Now, it could absolutely be a work. I don't dispute that. But if he doesn't show up on TV the next few weeks, my guess is they just made the announcement so that people aren't sitting around posting about what the fuck is going on with Dean Ambrose. We know now, and if he doesn't show up on WWE TV again, we can all do the math.
My thing is when have they ever done this for other guys leaving? Usually they write them off somehow or just let them disappear.
