232 confirmed 2015 releases for ps4 this year, excluding the unnanounced titles like asscreed, and COD.

79 for XB1 including unconfirmed games like asscreed, and multiple episodes of the same game.

Pretty big difference. Sure many PS4 games are digital only, but they're still an option. Isn't the PS4s current library nearly 2x as large as XB1, and about to nearly triple it this year.

XB1 has no games meme here.

^^ if they do announce a Gears collection, give it a few days before you do anything. Nobody needs to get burned from a shitty game like MCC that barely functions.

That's a ton of indie games :chuckle:

Why are you even calling The Order a game? It's a giant 5 hour quicktime event.

If I ever develop a game console, I will assuredly hire Mdog to make the fucking case to buy it.

This guy is relentless! :chuckle:

Yep, it certainly is. The retail list can be made by someone else, not even close to interested enough to look through all that. It's still higher than XB1 if I had to guess. The Order, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, MLB, UC4, just off the top of my head, compared to Forza, Halo, and Tomb Raider.

No mention of Fable Legends, No mention of ScaleBound, No mention of Quantem Break yup keep leaving out those exclusives.

That "game" even has like a 100 page guidebook in stores on when is the perfect time to hit that X button :chuckle: . Wonder how short that game would be if they actually allowed you to skip the cut scenes lol.

The Order blows, dude.

And you're really simplifying it.
So you've played it?

I only ask because of people I have talked to that have played it, the worst I have heard is that it wasn't quite what they were hoping for, or that they wished it was longer. I haven't heard anyone say it blows. Granted, that's only from around a dozen or so people, so maybe you really felt that way after playing it.

I didn't play it all the way through, no, but I have played it.

If you're going to argue the semantics of saying it blows and it's mediocre, fine, I exaggerated. It's a mediocre. The best thing I could say about it is that it looks pretty good.

If someone is trying to cite it as a reason that PS4 is a better investment than Xbox One, that's hilarious.

Oh yeah Fable Legends. Like I said, off the top of my head.

But Scalebound is not a 2015 release at this point. Someone mentioned the games, I gave you a list of PS4 games, and the number of X1 games that are confirmed for 2015. That's all.

Then someone mentioned retail, I forgot one.

All I see is the Order's not a game responses, great counter argument. This conversation has gotten boring now. Have fun playing your firmware updates X, and playing two games this holiday. I guess for the next 6 months, you can say Xbox on, Xbox off.

It's just not a very good game. If that offends you, oh well. Its reception pretty much agrees with that assertion (that it isn't very good).

225 of those aren't retail. Haha. Seriously though, Playstation is super focused on Indy games. As much as I like games like Guacamelee, I'd much rather play full sized games I can keep going back to. I'm lucky I have both consoles though. I'm REALLY looking forward to Batman, Uncharted, Halo, Quantum Break and Tomb Raider. Potentially Street Fighter, Mad Max and Silent Hill. But other than Batman, everything else is 4th quarter, which is upsetting. Guess I'm going to be on Fifa, Battlefield and NBA until then.

Well i guess Xbox owners will be in the same position Ps4 owners found themselves in since shortly after its launch :chuckle: .What games exactly did they have to play last year That wasn't an Indie game?? Little Big planet,Knack..., The Last of Us(again),DriveClub a game just as broken as MCC. Before "The Order" what was the last big PS4 game to come out?

Sony so focused on indie games rather than securing real titles so they can claim larger game library.

Xbox has a focus on indie games, my console will soon be considered a dev unit like every other x1 out there.

So not only can I play titles, I can work on making my own. And with DirectX 12 coming out soon and Unreal now being free, Sony can kiss my ass.

I'll still eventually buy a PS4 for the few JRPGs. But aside from then, little to no reason to switch to the PS4. Because first and foremost, I have adult sized hands, not hands the size of a preteen. PS4 controller is still too fucking small.

The bolded is huge....

The bolded is huge....

It's huge once you realize you can create AAA titles at minimal costs, and you just lose a chunk of your profits to Epic if it gets big.

I really see this being the next big trend. Small devs with ambitious goals won't need kickstarter to pay for licensing for a top notch engine etc.
