Z sign and trade possibilities?

I've heard a couple of rumors about possible sign and trades for Z.

Let me know what you guys think of them...

Trade 1
Cavs trade Z to Portland for Shareef Abdur-Rahim(Resigned) and Theo Ratliff.

Trade 2
Cavs trade Z and filler to Minnesota for Micheal Olowakandi and Wally Sczerbiak.

I also heard some rumor about Z for Brad Miller but don't remember the other players involved.


Personally I kinda of like the Abdur-Rahim deal but then Gooden would have to be traded for help in other areas.

Why do people want to trade away Gooden? Man, I think this guy is good...oh well.

I personally wouldn't trade for the guys on the list from Portland and the TWolves. Overpair and underacheiving would best describe them.

I would mind Brad Miller 'cuz at least this guy hustles his butt out there on the court.

I personally don't think we are getting enough for Z/Shasha in that trade. Because Shasha is just getting better and can have a break out season next year. If thats the only way we were going to get anything for Z then yea I would do it.

Yea. I made that rumor. But I didn't intend it to be a rumor, just speculation because of rumors that AI should be traded. Nothing that really holds water to be honest.

Lorenzen Wright - can grab boards and score easy baskets, was averaging about 16/8 when Pau Gasol was out.
Stromile Swift (re-signed) - Gooden evil twin. Plays defense (athletic blocks) but erratic on offense
Mike Miller - Good, good shot. Liability on defense, but if he can make the shot I'll be happy.

Artest is insane and im not sure hes the kind of guy we want on the team. But the lineup that it would give us may be too enticing to turn down.

I like getting Simmons, Jaric and Kaman for Z but I don't think the Clips are going to want to do that. Those guys are their future. But that would fill every spot well.

A decent backup pg, a quality sg, and a quality big man.
