First of all, let's not confuse message board speculation with real actual rumors. Many of these probably aren't realistic trades or would actually happen. Most young, developing teams aren't going to take on a 30 year old highly paid C when they're looking long term with a core of young talent and already have a younger C like Magloire or Kamen.
Out of the possibilites mentioned, the Memphis deal does seem like something that could work for both teams. L. Wright would be at least a servicable C and M. Miller would be a versatile perimeter scorer/shooter.
Seattle could be a team to look seriously at for a sign and trade. A lot depends on what they do with their own FA's. They have a ton of key guys who will be FA's. If Ray Allen can't work out a new contract Seattle might want to get something for him and they do need a C and frontcourt help. If Radmanovic and Daniels don't work out new contracts than they are players to look at in sign and trades.
One thing to remember with sign and trade deals is that teams rarely get back equal value for the player they're trading. Examples from just last summer are the Warriors getting basically nothing but matching contracts from Dallas for Dampier and the Nets just getting draft picks from Denver for Kenyon Martin. Hopefully if the Cavs do end up tradign Z they can at least fill a hole, add depth or get a decent replacement C as part of the trade.
