LeBron can't guard KD when he gets the ball.. the thing is KD is trying to get the ball mid post like Kobe and is simply being pushed off his spot by LeBron. OKC obviously needs to find ways to get Kevin the ball.. he is shooting almost 58% from the field after all.
Lebron can guard KD PERIOD. He can't lock him down (impossible task). He can make KD work harder to get the ball, he can keep him further out on the floor.....all making it harder for KD to score.

And Chich yes Fisher was recruited by the Heat back in 2010, but he chose to stay with the Lakers. The issue above was about him choosing OKC over MIA.

Sometimes I suspect Ibakas words get twisted since he doesn't speak the best English, but he probably meant that LeBron can't shut down Durant and that its about a team defense, which is true. If he just called out LeBron and said he was horribly defensivley either way, I could see the problem. And LeBron didn't really call him stupid, he talked about how it is true that he can't guard him for 48 minutes and how he isn't a Durant stopper because no one can stop him. But he said it was stupid for people to try to say stuff like that, which wasn't a direct shot at Ibaka.

I mean LOL at the media. I love how everyone tries to blow up something when there isn't much there. Are they that desperate for headlines.

You hit the nail on the head. I doubt 99% of the people who listened to this story have actually heard Ibaka speak. He does not speak English well at all. Therefore words can easily get twisted. I guarantee this is what happened here.

It's funny because they never include the question that was asked of him with these things. I doubt Ibaka went up to a media member and said "LeBron can't guard KD." The question he was asked was probably something about if it was wise for LeBron to guard KD the entire game. Which of course you would say... LeBron can't guard KD the whole game.. It's got to be a team effort.

Ya, I love how the media tries to create problems. Pussy instigators. And with Ibaka, it seems like they try to coax him into saying things since he isn't good at English. Pathetic.

Great players can't be guarded whether it be LeBron or KD.

As for the second part, I was adding to the discussion by showing that Fisher had turned them down now twice while once being offered the starting job.. wasn't going against it.

Wow, tons of empty seats in Miami. Amazing to think that if James wins a title, nobody will either care or want him to.

I for one, DO want him to win, to prove that cheaters do prosper

And apparently LeBron said, "Its stupid," not "he's stupid."

I know the game hasn't even started yet, but the Heat look way more energetic and confident. Maybe the Thunder are just focused, I don't know.

I honestly feel like it's possible that the Thunder just need to get back to OKC. I think if they can win one of the next two, they have a pretty good shot.

This is incredible.

kd's foul trouble is another reason brooks is dumb for not going small from the tip.

he should be guarding battier/miller the entire game.

If they lose this game that 3-1 hole may just be too much for this team, or really any team to overcome when the other team has a player that can go into video game mode at any time.
