All if you people already crowning the Heat make me sick.

When OKC comes back I will put you all on fucking blast.

Have you learned anything these last couple of years?

So they're wrong for crowning the Heat*, but its fine for you to crown OKC?

*yeah they are, but then so are u

This is a make or break game for OKC. Might as well be an elimination game imo. 3-1 is too big of a hole for any team to hope to come out of.

And as for the argument that I started a few pages back about free agents going to Miami if Miami wins, and that is still an if at this point then players will be looking to go there to get a ring, and there should be no doubts about that. Most of the good free agents this off season (that are in the category of ring chasers) play PG and C, coincidentally that is Miami's two weakest spots. Where as OKC has a great PG, and a very good C. If you want to play the game, and have a chance to win which team is more appealing if you are a PG, or a C. The obvious choice is Miami.

Then we bring in non basketball reasons like the no state tax (they may pay income tax based on where they play each game, but playing 50% of your games with no income tax is better than playing 10% of your games with no income tax), the nightlife, the weather, etc then you are looking at a much better spot to play.

I haven't crowned Miami yet, but if they do win this title, and nab one or two of the free agents I listed they will repeat.

I dunno. I heard this same about Miami last off-season. All of the free agents were going to give up tons and tons of money to go play there. And they got Shane Battier and that's it.. Nice player and all, but he's worth about what he's getting paid by Miami. People were throwing away millions and millions to go play for Miami last year. I don't really see that changing.

about the income tax thing seeing as Mia (in this instance) plays games vs Orlando and IIRC Texas has no state income tax then games in SA, Hou and Dal count too. Either way you're right Miami has several +'s if money is not an option...and for a lot of long time vets its not a major sticking point.

I dont think anyone is saying that players are ABSOLUTELY going sign in Miami, its just that it is a very real OPTION... Its was mentioned that Ray Allen had/will have Miami as a potential destination for 12-13. Same thing with Jason Terry and Steve Nash (the latter two saying it themselves)

Steve Nash in Miami would break my heart. He would be relegated to an off the ball shooter for 90% of the game because on a team like Miami that has two ball dominant wing players his full skill set would not be utilized. Ray Allen on Miami would be utterly fantastic for him. He would get soooooo many open shots that he might be able to come within striking distance of his own three pointers made record.

I won't be watching tonight (easy for me to say now).

Fuck this rigged championship and this rigged league.

Anyone else have a massive lump in their throat?

I regrettably have the sense that LeBron is going to have an absolutely monster game tonight.

I'm going all Mo Williams right now. "I can feel it coming in the air tonight...." only this time it's going to be good in a bad way. :puke:

Will the Heat win? Who knows but I'm fully expecting 40 from LBJ.

So the media is saying that the thunder need to complain more like the heat?

More floppy and less sloppy I guess.

Fucking retarded.

I do expect a big game from LBJ as well. I've moved on though, at least LeBron did not win his first year in Miami.

Wow you last couple posters should get a life nobody cares about your Miami Heat erection why would you even throw that out there?

This thing gets put on ice tonight. Miami goes up 3-1.

I have a horrible feeling that you're right. OKC just cant seem to put together a complete game. I hope that I'm wrong but I think this thing ends on Thursday night

No way Stern doesn't make this 7 games. This thing has been a cash cow and Stern is going to suck that teet for all it's worth.

I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to change the rules and make this a best of 9 series just to force feed us a few more games.

That's sarcasm for those that don't realize it.
