He's not a true leadoff hitter, no.

I disagree. I think Kipnis is pretty much the perfect leadoff hitter the way he's been playing this year. A lot of doubles, sees a lot of pitches, and decent speed. I'm also a big fan of Lindor's skill set in the 2 hole. I'd keep them right where they are.

If they sign or trade for a proven stick then keep the lineup as, more concerned about a cleanup guy then who's leading off because we have few guys for that. A bat fixes alot of problems here.

The time to pull the trigger is now, we have the core but need outside help.
