2016 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
One thing about Cook that I can't decide if I think is great or horrible is the fact that basically every single time he has one-on-one coverage on the outside he just throws a 50/50 ball and hopes for the best.

Seems like part of the reason why his completion percentage is so bad too.

Some incredible touch throws downfield by Cook. Is there any hard evidence about character concerns, or is it all just hearsay right now?

Stems from not being voted one of the captains at MSU. Probably not a good look for a senior, three-year starting QB.....

Obvious caveat is "it depends on where we fall".

Here are some players from a recent list: http://thebiglead.com/2015/07/09/top-50-players-in-college-football-for-2015/

If we can't get Goff (we can't - we don't suck enough), I want a linebacker. I haven't seen enough of these players to comment, but until we can consistently stop the run, it's going to be hard to play the chess match.
I am going to talk about this on the Podcast, but the best thing for the Browns is for someone other then Farmer is making picks in April. It is looking like he had a worse off season then we imagined. Besides drafting a rb in the third round who could catch the ball out the backfield, what draft pick from last year are you currently really happy with. It maybe to early to get down o Danny Shelton, but it is looking like another first rounder that leaves a lot to be desired. Four first rounders and two years, and none of them look like future pro bowlers. Those mistakes set the franchise back 3-5 years, plus our second rounder looks very average at best in Orchard. Then to top it off, the WR in the 4th was not good enough to even make the practice field.

My biggest concern is we win 6 games and Haslem stays the course with Farmer. We are scheduled to have a media guest from the OBR who covers the team full time to talk about"what is in the best interest of the franchise over the next 10 weeks, so please tune int.

I have had a chance to watch him three times, and I think he would look even better if he was in an offense with more chances to throw the ball downfield on pure drop back attempts. Only thing I don't love is for a 6 7 qb he does not have guys bounce off him like Rothlesburger. He still needs to get stronger so he can take advantage of that size, but I can't imagine he is not at least a second round prospect right now on his way up.

Pretty easy to do when you get into the NFL and have their S&C + Nutrition coaches piling it on you.

Would love to get him if we swing & miss on Goff. b00b will be the 1st in line at the CLE pro shop to get his jersey if this happens.

Lynch >>>Goff.

This opinion is subject to change based on any given throw from either of them.

Goff vs. Rosen on ESPN right now.

Going to see if it's possible to masturbate throughout the duration of a full game.

49ers taking Goff. We fucked.

Won't matter if Jacksonville keeps the top spot, it'll be a bidding war. Though, I'm still not convinced Lynch might not be right along side Goff by the end of this

When will you have your complete report on this? Should we expect to see it here on in EAYOR?

Tough night to evaluate Goff. The rest of that Cal team is awful. Their OL is a complete mess and quite a few of their WRs seem afraid of contact and short arm some balls.

Give Goff an OL like Cook's and he's probably completing 80%.

That said, there's a part of me that really likes watching how a QB does when things aren't perfect. There are tons of guys out there that can go 1-2-3-4-5-plant-throw and hit an open target, but how often does that happen in the NFL?

There were still enough really good things Goff did that popped watching the game - plays where he makes multiple progressions before throwing, moving in the pocket away from pressure to deliver accurate passes, etc.

He's still the No. 1 QB as far as I'm concerned, even with the last two games.

Yup, Matt Miller said it best last night
