this may be true but with Mason only making around 3.7mil(I believe) what are they really going to get in return? everytime I an thinking sports and say a guy only makes 3.7 mil it makes me cringe a bit

They could package him with another player (like Finley, for example) and have a little over $5M available, plus there is the 125% +100k trade rule so they don't need to have the salaries be exact matches.

I don't know....but I just can't picture them trading one of the few players who actually contributes for nothing. Plus he's already an expiring, making the deal all the more unlikely IMO.

I think an Amar'e trade won't happen until sometime on Thursday. Phoenix is giving Miami every chance in the world to find a 3rd team, and they are also holding out and hoping that Philly will give up Iguodala. I think something like noon on Thursday would work in terms of a deadline.

why wait on Iguodala when you can have Danny Green today?

If they sit Amar'e tonight, they HAVE to move him. More importantly they lose a bit of leverage. Odds are it wouldn't change anything in terms of Cleveland's offer, but if you are Phoenix then you don't want to take that chance. Plus what happens if Cleveland gets a better off from someone else and Phoenix is stuck with Amar'e?

You just can't take that risk.

you are most likely correct....I just think for as little as he makes, even if you pair him with Finley you won't get much back.

Jamison has been through all that shit in Washington for years, and this season was the last straw!

I'm sure he would welcome a trade to Cleveland or Boston at this point.

I'm just crossing my fingers that if somehow we don't get STAT, that Boston doesn't swoop in and grab Jamison.
