Andrew Wiggins

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Tonight Wiggins looked very good. In the other games this season, I was a little disappointed in everything except the defense (which I always liked). Wiggins scored without holding the ball a lot and would fit on almost any team since he's not a ball stopper. He plays defense and just "flows" well on the court. Here's a highlight clip of last night.

It's funny you mention defense, because Joe Johnson torched him.

I'm not disputing that at all. trading for Love improved us immensely and as i stated in my original post it incredible to see just how much he impacts our game. the question was never wether or not to get love, but wether or not to wait and see if we could sign him in free agency instead of trading for him. had we been able to do that while still holding on to Wiggins our "window" would possibly be much larger, even though I don't necessarily think it's as narrow as you seem to be implying. It's of course all hypothetical and there's no way of knowing for sure, that Love would be coming here in FA, but as for Wiggins, I really do feel he would've been much better off on our team, considering how raw he is, compared to his situation in Minny.

also, this is the Andrew Wiggins thread, we're supposed to be talking about Andrew Wiggins in here, not specifically the cavs, but seeing as we are a cavs forum and we actually drafted Wiggins, I'd say the discussion does have a place on here, and not necessarily a bad thing.

Could have waited and got Love and Wiggins at the end of the year, how awesome would that have been :D
sorry for all the people that are tired of me mentioning Wiggins :D

Joe Johnson played well but nothing was easy. I felt he made some tough shots. I remember a play or two where Johnson was throwing his weight around and seemingly fouling Wiggins (no call) and Wiggins took it and defended the play.

Except all of the problems you are seeing right now would be manifesting closer to the playoffs.

You need continuity and familiarity which is why a mid season trade was avoided.

Think he's talking about waiting a whole year. Aka no Love at all.

I'm glad we didn't get conservative because Wiggins wouldn't even have had time to touch the ball the way our offense looks right now.

Wiggins on ESPN @ 10 tonight FYI.

Saw the game, he needs to be more dominant, although the team without rubio is bad for him since there are lack of touches and movement.
I was thinking about it, how would Wiggins be a part of our offense if he stayed?
can't see it

He's not getting to the line due to not having a handle. He made some spot up shots and step backs which were nice bimut won't lead to superstardom. He's only had two dunks this year which is strange since he's played the majority of the time with Runio before the Spaniard got hurt and you would think Rubio would find him on the break or in half court sets. He's also not getting any assists (same as summer league and ore season) and not rebounding. The defense looks good.

The cross over dunk was impressive until I realized James Hardin was "guarding" him.

The entire 2014 draft class, so far, has been god awful. Boring, hurt, and just not living up to the hype.

But it is honestly light years better than last year with the 2013 draft class. That was historically awful.
