Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Surprised we haven't gotten a schedule leak yet. My money says Bulls at Cavs on opening night. It already got leaked that Knicks are at the Q 2 days later on the 30th for our second game.

Nah Spurs are hosting Mavs opening night.

Looks like you're right. http://fansided.com/2014/08/13/clev...tm_medium=Network&utm_campaign=Trending on FS

Also this:

Cavs were expected to open season at Spurs, but that is changing, source said. Cleveland still expected to open 10/30 & play at MIA on Xmas.
— Marc J. Look for scheduling leaks about 5:30 p.m. or so, or shortly before the NBA TV show at 6 p.m. Look for leaks for key dates to the usual national suspects: Broussard, Stein, Windhorst, Sheriden, etc. to grner enough interest that viewers are reminded to tune in to see their team's schedule.

Yep that's what I said earlier. I just thought we'd still have a game on the 28th but whatever. Strange to me that we're not playing on opening night. NBA must be trying to make this a weeklong opening event rather than build up just for one day.

So with that being said and the Knicks being the team, how much do opening night tickets go for? I am leaning a little lower than what I thought before when I was thinking Bulls or Spurs.

The same regardless. If it were the Spurs, I was concerned as I'd expect it to be a loss that early in the season against the best team in the league. But really no matter who it is, it's LeBron's homecoming. Tickets will be insanely high.

I just hope Flash Seats is more reasonable than the ones we currently see on eBay. I'll pay good money to be at that game, but no way I'm dropping THAT kind of money.

Really? I'd think more. Guaranteed win.

Just got an email from my ticket guy (I have the half season plan).

One of the questions I had asked him was how long before the plans are known. He said it usually takes them a few weeks to divvy up the games into the various packages.

Also, single game tickets will go on sale either late September or early October.

Can't believe they're making us wait that long.

For single game tickets? Or for the plans to be released?

For the plans, it makes sense. The way he described it to me, at least for half season plans, is that once the schedule comes out, they go through each game and rate it as an "A" game, "B" games, etc based on matchups and promos and schedule all that stuff. Then the divide up the plans to make sure each one has an equal number of A games, B games, C games, etc. So I assume that takes some time.
