Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My ticket rep said the same thing is happening, they don't have the dates yet but the season ticket holders will get a promo code via email in order of priority when they placed their deposit. After that then they will open it up to the public. I just can't imagine a single ticket will be left for the public though?

I talked with a rep yesterday about this and my chances of getting a 10 game package. He did confirm that season & partial ticket holders will get first crack but you are not guaranteed to get tickets to the home opener. They only hold a certain amount for the ticket holders, the rest go to the public. The amount of tickets they hold is not the same amount of tickets they sold for full/partial plans. Same for playoff tickets.

So are there tickets that go on sale to the public? If so, when?

I think usually toward end of Sept. I have a season ticket tickets, I travel for work so there will be games I miss that I will sell. Would rather sell to fans on here then anywhere else.

Does anyone know when the tickets will be transferred to flash seats for season ticket holders?

It typically is done around Sept 1. It may be delayed a bit this year because of demand though.

I just got an e-mail for "tickets that are on sale for one of your favorites" from Ticketmaster. Cavs @ Pistons.

Said they go on sale tomorrow at 8am for both the January and February games. Not a home game, but who cares. I live in Northwest Ohio so it's not a long drive at all.

Just thought I would give a heads up. No idea if that means shit is going on sale soon or what.

Made a call to my rep today. He gave the same "We are still in the process of going through our list" response. I tried to prod and prod and get an idea of where they were on the partial plan list and he wouldn't give me any information. He did say that they were literally getting hundreds of calls per minute after LeBron announced his return. He did tell me that they do still have partials left and that they will call everyone on the list before they actually put out any information on what games will be included in the different partial plan packages. He said things have gone slower than they anticipated with calling people back and also said with the Cleveland Gladiators going to the arena bowl that has slowed them down with calling people because many Cavaliers ticket reps have had to step in and help sell tickets for the Gladiators since the Gladiators have a very limited ticket sales staff.

Anyone ever get partial plans and feel like they got screwed with the game selection? I'm hoping I get at least 5 good games out of 10. Those would include 5 playoff teams, hopefully 3 from the East and 2 from the West. Then if they want to throw the Pistons, Bucks, Kings, Magic and Celtics in there then so be it.

It's been years since I got partials, but usually they had four different "branded" packages to pick from. Like, one was "Weekends", one was "Western Conference" one was "Weekdays", and then a mixture.

Not sure how the 10 gamers work, but for the half seasons they said their analytics team divvies up the games into tiers, and then makes sure each plan gets fairly equal amounts from each tier.

Thanks. There isn't any specific branded packages anymore, they just assign you 10 games and they said it includes a mixture of premier games, weekend games, and games with promo giveaways. So we'll see.

Having a bit of an issue with FlashSeats at the moment. Trying to register for an account and select my country as Australia but it seems I can only select US and Canada. Have any internationals used the system before?

So the partial plans are no longer available, correct?

Strange that the Pistons put single-game tickets on sale this morning. Most teams are waiting for another 4-6 weeks. Anyway, they have seats available for both Cavs @ Pistons games at different price ranges.
