Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just got an email from my ticket guy (I have the half season plan).

One of the questions I had asked him was how long before the plans are known. He said it usually takes them a few weeks to divvy up the games into the various packages.

Also, single game tickets will go on sale either late September or early October.

Ahhh geez. I can only hope Flash Seats is up before then. I want to secure a couple games so bad right now.

I would think Flash Seats would be up as soon as the schedule it released. Full season ticket holders know which games they'll have. Half and partial ticket holders will need to wait.

So with that being said and the Knicks being the team, how much do opening night tickets go for? I am leaning a little lower than what I thought before when I was thinking Bulls or Spurs.

It doesn't matter which team we play after market tickets are going to be crazy. No one cares who we play, they only care about who is playing and that's LeBron. As for box office prices I think those prices are set and cannot be increased. The amount you paid per seat for your partial plan is the amount you should pay for the opener. If you're lucky enough to get them. Playoffs is a different story those prices can be increased.

Yep, me too! Just the one game and I'm happy but I know I need to secure it months in advance to be safe. Fingers crossed!

I looked at the schedule and they play the Kings on the 30th on the 2nd. I think that is the time frame that you were looking at. If you want to get either of those games let me know and we can get it worked out.

Thanks Soda! Yep, I'm thinking the Kings on the 30th would be perfect. I'm going to have to fly in a day earlier though as we're due in at 6pm on the 30th so want to give myself a day at least to get settled and over the jet lag.

Do you have 2x tickets by any chance? As I'll be coming with the girlfriend. Or is it best to check out flash seats?

I have 2 seats. Sec 111 Row 20 Seats 1 and 2.

Just so I'm not crazy, there is NOT an option to currently buy tickets on FlashSeats right now, correct?

If I'm not mistaken, they don't open up Flashseats until tickets actually go on sale. I could be wrong though.

Nope, you're not crazy. Nothing available yet.

If they do it like they did last year, season ticket holders will get their tickets delivered in late September via Flash Seats. Then season ticket holders/WGU members get first crack at buying additional seats. Then sales are opened to the general public, and the Flash Seats marketplace is opened as well (sometime in October).

Of course, there's just a little bit more interest in Cavs tickets this season, so I don't know if they are going to change their approach at all.

My ticket rep said the same thing is happening, they don't have the dates yet but the season ticket holders will get a promo code via email in order of priority when they placed their deposit. After that then they will open it up to the public. I just can't imagine a single ticket will be left for the public though?
