Wonder if the deal would involve MKG or not. Interesting however.

There's no way it would involve MKG or Kemba. A first round pick... perhaps that's what he's referring to.

People on the Bobcats forums are already drooling. I guess they own a few first round picks comming up. So I guess they could be throwing a multitude of those at the Kings for Cousins.

(Cavs have those picks to, so would be cool to maybe see them get involved, if they believe in Cousins)

Also on the bobcats boards, they are are dreaming of a Kemba/Shabazz/MKG/?/Cousins Lineup. I like that.

Kyrie/Dion/?/TT/Cousins. That is a starting lineup I can get behind.

Diop, MKG, DET #1, POR #1 for Cousins and Salmons

Did any of you see the youtube clip of his triple double last night? God damn, he is incredible for a guy his size. I would give up a lot to get him, character issues or not. He has a nasty ass look on his face all the time too, like he has a mean streak. The next Rasheed with even more skill?...

So the Bobcats are banking on trading exclusively picks(except not 2013! when they are awful) for Cousins. Erm yeah....good luck to them. Would be surprised if Kings were willing to bite, too, given their shaky draft history.

Earlier ITT (or another Cousins one) I noted how Charlotte was an interesting option, depending on MJ's involvement. They don't have the personnel on the team to turn him around, but if an owner of that magnitude is involved it's a different story.

I'd do a cousins trade. That whole sac situation is toxi and it begins with there owner. Just a thought ever wonder how Rondo would have turned out if he was in Sacramento instead of Boston? Cousins is a headcase but that could change with guidance and support. We have good manegment and a great coach mixed with kyrie, dion, and gee are all young but they are strong character guys. I mean my god id loose my mind playing with chuckers like evans and thortan.

If we can get him for TT/zeller/ our 1st for cousins and salmouns we should do it

IIRC the Cats have the Pistons 1st and Blazers 1st this year as well as their own

Then it would probably be soemthing along the lines of:

Bismack, Mullens, Henderson, Diop, Taylor Det 13 1st (top 14), Por 13 1st (top 12)

For

Cousins, Salmons, Garcia, Fredette

The Bulls have the Cats pick; top 12 protected. Also heard speculation the Kings aren't terribly interested in draft picks......

I originally voted no, but to just sit here and think, if this dude can get it together he will be a monster. Does anyone know if we've contacted the Kings yet on Cousins?

Still not worth it. Does nobody realize fools gold when they see it? This isn't like getting Harden from Oklahoma City since he's a hard working player. It's like getting Andre Blatche through an amnesty clause because no one else wanted him. And then only playing him off the bench as a backup center. Maybe Cousins can turn it around into Randolph level later on, but he's not going to make the team better. He's only going to ruin the chemistry viva 2002-2003 Cavaliers. Think back to Ricky Davis and Darius Miles then think if you really want to see that again...

With how volatile the situation has been over his tenure at Sac I hate to say it, but for him to truly shine, and reach his potential I think he would need to go to Boston, SAS, or Miami. All three have the leadership, and great players that no doubt he would respect. Two of the three have very highly respected coaches, and all three have organizations that won't put up with his bs. If the Heat wouldn't let LeBron's friends fly on the players plane, their not going to put up with Cousins bs.

The downside to this is of course Cousins could wind up in the East, and dominate if he got it together, and to add to that he would all but guarantee a Heat title the next few years if he went to the Heat and became the star Wade will never be again.

He's not going to end up on the Heat because they really don't have anything to trade for him. They're not going to trade Wade or LeBron, and I don't see them trading Bosh for a mentally unstable kid who may never put it together when they've already got a mentally stable guy who helped them win a title a year ago. Outside of those three, the Heat have jack shit.

Per Nba.com Sacramento said he wasn't on the block and this "can be put to rest."

I'm always willing to take chances on players but I'd have to say no to Cousins right now. He's a huge cancer and could very well totally screw up any chance the Cavs might have for success in the next decade. There's plenty of raw talent there with Cousins but he's only increased and not put to rest all the doubts and questions that already existed about him.
If he ever matures or starts to "get it", it could very well still be a number of years away and on another team by that point after whatever team he's on gets tired of the headaches and drama.

Cousins hasn't shown any reason to think he's worth the risk and that he won't continue to be a giant pain in the ass who doesn't really help his team become more successful.
