JR Smith

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Huge props to JR. While calling the...chick...a science project isn't cool, not just buying into the mainstream media BS about Jenner being SO IMPORTANT AND HEROIC AND GROUNDBREAKING like most athletes would just to improve their brand, is something I can commend him for.

I wish more 'prominent' people would start yelling about how many other important things are happening in the world.
Well, I'll just say that I agree, then.

No excuses, but he came back into the game very late in the 3rd quarter and I think he might've just been cold and out of rhythm. Very disappointing.

3/10 from three while Andre "cant shoot" Iguodola was 2/3 from three. We desperately need better minutes from him going forward.

He was bad on both ends of the floor tonight. If we're going to win any given game, he needs to be better, seeing that he's our only reliable scorer off the bench.

I thought JR did fairly well in the 1st half offensive and defensively. Minus a few breakdowns through communication the whole team showed up defensively. The 2nd half he was non existent and was still firing step back 3s. It's crazy but JR is like another max player when locked in on both sides of the ball.

I know that may sound crazy but he is. I would say like in that 2nd tier of Max players. The Gordon Haywards, Goran Dragics, and Greg Monroe tier. He just has to play better for 4 quarters next game. Go Cavs and 216.

ON offense, that's the conundrum of J.R. Smith. How many bad shots did he make against Atlanta? That's what he does. He takes and makes bad shots. WHen they aren't going in, you're left wondering why anyone would shoot so many step back threes. When they're going in, he looks like the best 6th man in the league.

Funny thing is I think the entire GS team plays like this but since they have about 6 guys who can go off, one of them is bound to get hot. :chuckle:

Well said exactly this.

JR killed us last night. 3-13 and shitty defense isn't gonna cut it from him.

Besides him and the rest of the bench, I thought we played great last night, until the meltdown in OT.

That's the frustrating part. Going 0-12 to end the game really kills how Kyrie and Lebron performed for 47 min 35 sec. JR definitely seemed out of rhythm. His double crossover and back sidestep was just off. Going to need a bigger game from Delly and JR on Sunday for sure.

I thought JR has/had ice water in his veins. I was wrong. He shit himself. Hitting the side of the backboard in overtime was the clearest sign that the pressure got to him. Really too bad. One or two more plays by him, and we win.
