Keith Law rated Francisco Lindor as the 17th best prospect in Baseball in an article on ESPN today.

He's rising fast and could be top 10 by the end of the year. Very advanced for his age, more than holding his own in low-A even though he's 15 months younger than Starling.

Nope.

No sense in that.

Let him develop, bring him up when Cabrera leaves via free agency in three years.

He'll only be 21-22 at that time.

Any reason why Lindor is in mid level A instead of high A? Just trying to give Clevelanders a chance to see him?

Probably don't want to rush him and just let him develop. Though I do think he should be up there kind of soon.

Also Tony Wolters is in High A right now in front of him. (who is also a pretty good prospect) he was struggling in April, but seems to be figuring it out now.

Ronny Rodriguez is the SS in Carolina right now.

But that's one reason, usually American kids a year out of high school spend most, if not all of that first season in Low-A.

The biggest reason is the fact there is literally zero need to rush him.

He's got at least three years of minor league play ahead of him with Cabrera in Cleveland. Unless Rodriguez gets hurt in Carolina there is simply no reason to allow him to skip ahead in his timeline.
