The 2015 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can't imagine Jose Ramirez really has that much value. He's a decent player and all, but come on. I'd trade him for a difference maker in a heart beat and hand the position over to Lindor.

Young switch hitting shortstops who project to be plus defenders are pretty valuable. Look at Didi Gregorius. Cincy got Choo for him in the Bauer deal.

The Diamondbacks had one of the most incompetent front offices in MLB history at the time of that trade.

Im sure he has value, but to say that they could get "anyone" who becomes available for him is absurd

I mean, we have no idea who will be "available" at the deadline. Anyways, whole point of my post is to quell your belief that he "doesn't really have much value". Young shortstops with plus defense will always have value around the league.

My post was saying he doesn't have that much value, as in the value Morosi was talking about. I could have worded that better originally because I understand how it looks like I meant he just doesn't have value, but that's not what I meant.

In a perfect world Kipnis would be able to transition back to the outfield and we could shift Ramirez over to 2nd when Lindor got the call

Lots and lots of pitching.

@The Oi

When are you going to post your prediction of the Indians record in picture format? One of my favorite parts of spring training.
Really? What are your other favorite spring events, the spring thaw flooding and the inevitable late March last significant cold snap?

The picture predictions make me laugh. Unlike your post.

Yes, those same images he's looped on here for the duration of his trolling will never get tiresome.

Great stuff.

Tough stretch for the boys going 4-11 and Kipnis is being held out with back spasms.

Although ST isnt for winning but moreso getting tuned up and in shape/rhythm or whatever but coming to the cold is going to disrupt them maybe a little who knows, lets just hope we get some good baseball established heading into the opener.

I continue to wonder if the best long-term answer in Lindor at SS, Ramirez at 2B, and Kipnis back to the outfield.
I mentioned it earlier as basically being the best possible solution if it could be worked out, but after thinking about it, Kipnis has to play right field because Brantley is better suited for left field and not center field, and I'm not sure if Kipnis has the arm for right field. But it's not as if anyone on our current roster has that either.

Heard on WTAM tonight that Swisher won't be on the roster on opening day because of the knee injuries. Who takes that roster spot? Maybe Aguilar steps in and takes those DH AB's until Swish is healthy.

Chisenhall wouldn't be a bad choice at DH since he seems to be more focused on giving away souvenirs.

Three errors so far for Lonnie this spring. That is definitely concerning.
