Addressing the hole at center

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kyrie kind of played like shit (for him) offensively last year, and was godawful on defense. I'd say his +/- numbers last year were pretty warranted. He's obviously the most talented guy on the team, but last year I personally wouldn't consider him to be the best guy on the team. Probably not even top three.

...name the three.

Going by on court impact (i.e. not accounting for talent/potential), I think Andy, Delly, and Deng were all pretty clearly better than Kyrie. I don't know why this conversation is happening here though. I guess it's fine though since this thread doesn't serve any other useful purpose :chuckles:

Getting back to the hole at center, Alex Kennedy reports that Spencer Hawes has expressed interest in the Clippers, there has been no indication that the feelings are mutual of course.

Good offense and good defense beats great offense and terrible defense :dunno:

Most around here will vouch for the fact that i'm a Kyrie backer and I fully expect him to do great things in the future. I'm just being realistic about the effect he had on the team last year.

And to answer your question, yes. But I don't see how that's relevant :chuckles:

There are going to be a lot of upset people on this board when Delly doesn't make the team this year.

Posts like these make me wonder why I ever leave S34...

Bye!! And, if you think Delly is some type of lock, then maybe you should leave bball alone in general. He's a solid back of the bench player. Those players get rotated out in the organization's attempt to upgrade a roster.

Don't see how this has anything to do with my post...:chuckles:

Yep, my bad. I was meaning to reply to the post above and below it and just happened to pick the one in between. I was hoping you just wouldn't notice...

Dellavedova took Karasev's spot in the rotation at the beginning of the season and took Jack's job as backup point guard at the end of the season. If Delly doesn't make the roster it will be because a team highly values him and offers a great player in return for a trade. He won't be cut.

Why is this conversation even happening in the thread about centers?

Cracks me up when people are so wrong, and yet so confident. They would be crazy to cut Delly. He may not be the most talented, but he is the kind of guy you want on your team. Sets a good example for the other guys in regard to how you should approach the game from an effort standpoint. The guy went from undrafted and having an average summer league to a rotation player on a team with a pretty set guard rotation already. You don't cut him. That would be insane.
