Jonathan Abrams continues to kill it. Best young writer out there:

Always loved the guy since his Orlando days, was one of my favorite players that wasn't a Cavalier. I swear every time it made some sense and he seemed available, I was beating the drum to get him. Glad to have him here. Like I said a few weeks ago, the guy is worth his salary for all of the intangible qualities that he possesses as a person and a professional.

My biggest take away in that article regarding the Cavs...

Dion Waiters, great kid. Sometimes he gets a bad rep. If he fits into his role here, he’s going to be really, really good. I think I can help with that.

Seems like he vets are doing what they can to get Dion in line with the team goals.

By far the best game of this streak came against Indiana, because Andy was out and it forced Bron and Kyrie to look for Love. And they did. And it was everything we hoped it would be. Bron and Kyrie rely way too much on their familiarity with Andy.

Andy was back the next game, Love looked great then too against better a better team.

Tristan starting: 28/10
Andy starting: 27/10

Both games he went off in the 1st quarter.

Great article. Has any one else reported that the team was having "players only meetings" ?

The Cavaliers, as Miller expected, have undergone a somewhat shaky start. Sixteen games into the season, the team is 9-7 and struggling to live up to the championship expectations that get heaped on any franchise that employs LeBron James. There have been players-only meetings, rumored arguments between James and Irving, Love’s gradual adjustment to playing within a new offense, and questions about David Blatt’s effectiveness as a coach and manager of NBA personalities.

I think players-only meetings are such a common thing for any NBA team that it almost isn't worth reporting.

You can go through any team's coverage during a period where they are struggling and invariably the beat writer will mention a player's only meeting taking place.

So reading that article you have to think mike will make a heck of a coach one day if he wants to. Strong personal skills and a game that was well rounded (at least offensively) hopefully he joins the cavs staff in a few years

I liked him before he joined Miami. Hated him with Miami. Now I love the guy.

Why did Miller barely play tonight?

Why did Miller barely play tonight?

If you take away Harris' 4 mins and give them to Miller (which should definitely start happening) he would have played 16 mins, which is right in the area of what he should be playing a night (you could maybe extend him out to 20 but that would be pushing it for him to stay healthy).

I just hope to christ that his minutes don't go away when Delly comes back this week.

Uhhhhh.... Whut? I don't even remember him taking any contact all game?

He was hit in the face on a 3 attempt. Sad thing is, they actually called the foul on him saying that he kicked his foot out on the shot.
