Windhorst was on with LeBatard earlier and said most of what has been mentioned here, although he made sure to state this was his opinion. They asked where this player attitude towards Blatt started. Windhorst brought up after the Bulls game when the team presented Blatt with the game ball for his first victory and were slapping him on the back and stuff. Blatt made the point of letting the team know he had won 700 other games, this wasn't his first W. Windhorst stated Blatt is used to being treated the way he was over seas and doesn't realize he needs to earn it here. This may have been the moment the players took a step back and said, "whoa"

Windy also said that most likely Blatt remains coach this season. The "backing" by Griff was a message to the fans, players, and especially James. He said that James would never go to Griff or Gilbert and say "fire him", James doesn't want the blood on his hands. Instead he's "saying" this through actions. The FO saying Blatt is our coach was a response to all this

That was rude Of Blatt. Flat out.
 
See, I just don't think Blatt is spotless here. The players aren't giving him the respect they should, but on the flip Blatt I think assumes he's owed even more respect than he actually is, or a better way to put it he wasn't/isn't very humble and didn't want to believe coaching in the NBA would be any different and any harder than what he had previously done.

I really can understand that. But they are paid to do a job.

Very well could be. He shouldn't be like that. I just find it strange because everyone spoke and speaks so highly of him.
 
Hearing Windhorst on LeBatard was a breath of fresh air. They don't have a rooting interest in this team so they asked questions people locally like Rizzo, Hammer, etc would not. Windhorst didn't have to censor himself although Bomani caught him off guard with a couple questions

I actually love Griff for this. He's calling LeBron's bluff of "saying" it through his actions, as he knows LeBron wants to win badly & his ego won't let him lose like this for too long.
 
Windhorst had no one to quote on any of this and made it all up based upon hearsay and innuendo. The very worst kind of reporting. If he really knew that the players were trying to get Blatt fired why didn't he at least say something to the effect that his "informed source" told him this and then provide an actual quote from that person and real evidence of that "fact." Windy is blowing hot air to get renewed attention because of the problems with the Cavs performance, nothing more. The truth will eventually come out so the hot air will be revealed in time and Windy will be discounted....again.

Yeah, as long as LeBron can maintain the level of play from Tuesday for the entire rest of the season.

Kyrie and Love simply are NOT going to figure out how to win on their own.

I can say this because I was one who didn't think he was coming back.He touted a lot of stuff after he made his decision..but since the season has started his return has been anything but glorious..makes me wonder what's really up with him..
Doesn't want to play for the HC.
He has certain unspoken conditions (agenda) when it comes to playing for a team.
