Windy Interview on leaving for ESPN

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No... I don't know what the hell you're talking about.

I don't have time to break down everything I said in my post... sorry. And I knew exactly the sarcasm you were hinting at and it lacked much bumbling sense... very much like the Moohead radio interviews with you I have heard in the past.

I'd like to just stay on topic and keep this good thread going as I did in my first post and not make this personal but that looks like it may be difficult with the one line WTF are you talking about.

I make much more sense than you.

First off, I was defending Windhorst taking the ESPN job. The last line was a joke that you clearly didn't get and everyone else at RealCavsFans did.

If you want to debate the idiocy of an NBA franchise tag go right ahead. You will lose.

PS Going with the post correction card, really? That's the best you have?

well what have we learned? that florida doesnt have basketball players or sports writers so they use their beaches to poach ours. really surprising there isnt another miami writer that would be better to follow the heat, they must be a bunch of clowns. whatever. glad windy got a new job, but he can still go fuck himself and his love affair lebron. go cavs. fuck anyone that isnt us. period.

I can't believe people hate Windy for doing something that anyone in their right mind would do. This isn't even really a tough decision, stay in Cleveland and cover a team that is going to be hard to write positive things about, or go to Miami and write about the hot topic in sports. Not to mention the difference in money that the guy will be making. Good luck Windy, I know you have read this board in the past so I hope you don't take offense from the idiots that are still hurt over LeBron leaving.

It's Finnan time!

It seems like most of the negative people in here are being hypocritical because it's their favorite team. If Windhorst were covering, say, Brandon Jennings in Milwaukee and Jennings joined the Heat, there would be no problem with Windhorst leaving Milwaukee (Milwaukee may not have as passionate fans, but the point stands).

To turn down a job at ESPN covering three great talents on one team (though we may hate one of them) would be inane. To do so to cover the Cleveland Cavaliers, whose most recognizable player is Anderson Varejao, would be dumbfounding.

Good luck, Brian.

Post count, reputation comments, uncanny John Lucas practice knowledge, staying on all day and night long and never leaving RCF/scout.com message boards does not mean that you make much more sense than I do, despite what some kids here may lead you to believe.

Like I already said, once again the franchise tag won't happen. But, I guarantee it has been and will be talked about again in the future. If it did exist there are lots of teams and ownership groups that would be in a lot better shape in the coming fiscal years, including our own team - and I do think it would lead to a greater competitive balance in the league.

When the Heat led by defectees James, Bosh and holdover Wade are facing the Knicks led by Stoudemire, Anthony, and Paul in a few years over and over again- a lot more people will be wishing they warmed to the idea of the franchise tag, because the league will effectively be ruined if this "super team" trend continues.

Cleveland Writer Follows LeBron To Miami

Ughhhhh just another goddamn slap in the face...

Good for Windy. I will miss him. The lack of "insider info" will definitely be missed. It was always nice to read someone that told it like it is, especially when all you read on here the past few seasons was "Guaranteed championship. We have no flaws. We are perfect. Every other team sucks. ect..."

Nail, meet head.

Mixed feelings on this one. Obviously I respect and really do understand his decision - more money, a great career move, better winter weather, no state income tax...but at the same time it's just another great thing Cleveland lost to another city. I'm not sure who is going to fill his shoes, whoever it is is going to have to step up their game. Best of luck to you Windhorst, just don't forget your roots.

Again, you sound like a moron. I'm not on RCF all day or on any other board all day or night. I never once mentioned post count, reputation or anything else. I would crush your fan boy argument because I have given this subject a lot of thought and I have a well thought reason as to why a franchise tag isn't needed in the NBA.

But hey, you're the guy who wrote three paragraphs or so defending the "honor" of Brian Windhorst like some male groupie based on a joke line that no one else had an issue with so actually debating you on basketball might be fruitless endeavor since I'm not sure you have anything to say.

Instead of continuing to to take shots at me defend your position with some actual points.
